Taylored Expressions has a set of dies for an accordian style card, Gnome Sweet Gnome set, lots of ways to decorate them, but this is one sample:
I think the gnomes stand 4 1/2" high. The accordian layer is one piece, and then you cut and add on the hats and beards and other details.

So this is how my devious little mind works... That accordian piece could be used to turn an ordinary card into a pop up card, right? If you glued the outside gnomes to the inside and folded so the middle two gnomes have a mountain fold between them, right ? So this is DIFFERENT from my other gnome dies... Right ?? And that size should let me mix and match accessories a bit with my Jaded Blossom dies, right ? So it works WITH what I have, right ?

This year, I caved and bought their snowmen set that is linked like this gnome set grammadee. My thoughts were: 1. create uncoloured sets to give to friends with little kits to create their own snowman chains 2. create a Christmas decoration where my snowmen are lined up 12-15 long, and I can unfold them year after year. Wouldn't the gnomies make a cute Valentine's decor item for a shelf or piano? You could give them to others too. You could create a fall/thanksgiving theme set by doing them in autumn colours and putting pumpkins in their hands...

These are a little more classic than the Jaded Blossom gnomes. I prefer my gnomies to be near-footless like these. Support a small business grammadee! It's the right thing to do

I had just hit checkout on my TE cart, so I am definitely getting the gnomes. Now I want the snowmen too ("The Cool Crew"), but these will have to go on my wishlist for now.

So I caved, of course, and ordered the gnomie dies. And NOW look what they have over at TE in their new release: dress up dies to get them all ready for Easter! I have a discount code for TE from Crop & Create, and these might just find their way into my basket along with those snowmen... I have the SSS gnome dies. I sure wish they’d do some add-ons for theirs! I don’t dig gnomes enough to start a completely different set, but those sure are cute For those who did the recent PF event, I wonder if I could incorporate a gnome or two into cards made with the mushroom set. Hmmmmm….

grammadee maybe you should bring these to the crop in May so I can play with them! They look so fun.

I love these gnome dies grammadee, they are adorable! I'm a big gnome fan thanks to the Gnomes book I got for Christmas when I was a kid. I'm sad to say I believed it all a little too much I may have to place a Tailored Expressions order with my crop and create discount code..

I resisted these gnomes until the St. Patrick add on came out. That set is just precious, easy to use and they came out adorable. For my cards, I trimmed the gnomes apart and made individual gnomes.
I am now waiting on my Easter accessory kit to arrive, lol.

I think that gnomes are adorable. But I have a stupid question here:
Do you send gnome cards to grandkids, nieces/nephews? Or do you send them to adult friends and family members?
What have you made with them, and who gets your gnomie creations?

Do you send gnome cards to grandkids, nieces/nephews? Or do you send them to adult friends and family members? I'm terrible at actually USING my stuff: I just want to HAVE things in case I need them in the future LOL. Gnomes of various types have shown up on several of my scrapbook pages. And some birthday cards for kids & grandkids. The most workout they got was for Christmas cards. I have in mind using the accordian dies to create seasonal displays for my mantle, but not sure if that will actually happen. Think I would have to set up something like a card making marathon--cut all the pieces and have them all ready before I started dressing my paper dolls. I didn't end up ordering the spring add-ons for the TE gnomes: I have Easter sets (not gnome related) from other years, with baskets and eggs and bunnies and at least a couple of carrot options.

I have in mind using the accordian dies to create seasonal displays for my mantle… Oh, I can totally relate to being terrible at actually using my crafty goodies! I do have grandkids. I hadn’t thought to use the gnome dies for seasonal displays. I think that is a very fun and cute idea! I do think the gnomes are really cute, but I am struggling with the fact that I have a ton of stamps and dies that are still waiting to be used, although I have at least used my Jaded Blossom gnome dies. Have I sent the one card that I made with them? Not yet. I like the idea of using dies you already have to add accents to the gnomes. I’m a firm believer in supporting the companies that sell the products we love, but I need to stop buying and spend more time actually using. I have Silhouette gnomies, too, but I just don’t like most of the Silhouette gnome designs. The JB and TE gnomies are cuter, and I prefer the edge and stitch lines you get with dies. The grandkids wouldn’t notice the difference, though, and maybe with a little tweaking, I can make the Silhouette gnomes more to my liking.

I have dug into my Easter inventory and for what I actually USE, I have a ton. But Jaded Blossom's latest release has add-ons that include bunny ears and bunny FEET and NOSE for the gnomes: And the cutest chicken beak and feet:
