Please spam me with your printer recommendations. I need wireless and something that prints decent small photos. I don’t print more than 5x7 from home. I am not happy with my current HP. I can’t get blue to print at all. It was given to me for free, so it could just be done-for. I would like to stay in the $100-200 range. I already have an Epson PM that I use a lot and will continue to mostly use. I don’t print a lot, but want to be able to print multiple photos on an 8.5 x 11 for my memory planner, or printables for my albums. I don’t mind paying for ink if it lasts, but the last Canon Pixma I owned went through lots of ink.
I am not asking for much, am I?

I have the Epson XP-8500 and it's great. The picture quality is pretty amazing and it doesn't seem to suck up ink as much as the Canon printers. They of course don't make it anymore but here's the next model. Epson XP-8700

I love my Epsom PM 400, great quality of photos, prints 3 x 5 1/2, 4 x 6, and 5 x 7. Wait for a good sale. Love it because it prints edge to edge with no wasted photo paper.

I too want to buy a small portable printer, so am following this thread fiercely, lol...the crop I just attended, I saw a lady with an Epson one, she was able to print 2x2 and up, I think?! I heard her speaking to someone else about it...wish I had asked her about it now.... :/ I would like a printer that would print the smallest and go to a 5x7 size maybe......

I found a special on a 12” Canon printer for $200 and couldn’t resist.

I’m currently lusting over the epson eco tank 8550. I have the 12x12 canon and it goes through so much ink. My pm-400 is on its last legs so I may replace with the 8550 and stop this ink cartridge game.

I’m not familiar with the 8550. Does it have refillable cartridges? The ink expense is the biggest reason I haven’t yet invested in a photo printer.

I have the Epson tank printer. I’ve haven't even gone through 1/2 my ink in three years. I print mainly at home for PL.

I’m thinking of getting the Cannon Selphy. I’ve wanted it for a long time. Does anyone know if it ever goes on sale or should I bite the bullet?

I am also shopping for a printer, but when I read the reviews, the one I currently have, the HP Envy 7855, got top ratings. But if I print from Photoshop or copy a photo, the color is really off, almost hazy looking, even when I have fresh ink, so I'm wondering if there is something that needs to be done, like clean the print head. Also, when I send documents from Word, bold text prints lighter than non-bolded text. So just a bunch of issues that I don't know if they are printer issues or driver issues, or the printer is just past its prime. Any thoughts on troubleshooting vs. replacing?

I splurged and bought a Canon Pixma Pro 200 after watching a zillion You Tube video reviews. I really wanted a wide format photo printer so I could print 12x12’s. Hubby urged me to get a photo printer since Costco Photo Center is closing. I didn’t really want to invest in the Pro 300 which is more for professional photographers. I love the prints it produces.
