I am done with bloom and grow. I just used foam titles with both of these words this weekend--one on a layout about my first attempt at vegetable gardening (a fail!) and one with a favourite photo of some of my summer flowers. I just could not make these titles work with anything else.

I don't follow trends, so I have no idea what the current phrases are. But a phrase that drove me insane on YT was "super cute". Every element or project was "super cute" - AAAHHHHHH, 35 times in every darn video. I felt like screaming when I heard it, and imediately left the channel. My daughter and I HATED this video/“unboxing”/YouTube trend too! To the point where we’ll walk through Target etc stating “this is CUTE”, “this is also CUTE” , “soooo CUTE” to each other over and over with any item that catches our eye. Probably annoys everyone else…!

I am trying to use a "Harry Potter" line for something other than Harry Potter (I thought it would work for layouts about books in general) but almost every die cut and sticker has the word magic on it... so at the moment, in my world, the word 'magic' is overused...
ETA: If I use a 'magic' die cut, I don't also want to use that word in the background paper, title, and embellishments too. It's making the collection really hard to use...

Overused icon: flowers. Not EVERY collection needs them, and I don’t need flowers sprouting from other icons either, like from computers or books or typewriters. Totally makes them unusable. I feel the same way about hearts. I don't need hearts on my camera icons, suitcases, or mixed with flowers. I can easily add a heart stamp or sticker if I'm feeling the love!
