After we moved into our current home, I claimed the nook at the very front of the house as my own. It has three walls, and my 5x5 Kallax unit acts as room divider/4th wall from the rest of the adjoining family room. We covered the back of the Kallax with white washed wood planking so you cannot see my supplies from the family room side.
I am hoping to redo the desk situation in my room this spring to make the space more functional.

Now that my children are grown I have a dedicated craft room just off the living room. I love being able to leave layouts and projects in progress and haveing space for a friend or 2 to join me.

When I lived in a much smaller home, my stash was squirreled away in various places. I lap scrapped, using a large wooden cutting board while watching TV with DH, needed supplies for the project in my crop bag. I also got together with friends to scrap, at first at the LSS, then later in a reserved room at the public library.
When we moved to Texas, we bought a home with a loft, which is my craft area. I scrap and make cards on an actual table now, have my supplies surrounding me, and can craft at any hour (I sometimes have difficulty sleeping). It’s a much better arrangement, although I scrap alone.

My scrapbook room is in one of our spare bedrooms. I also work from home in the same space most days & use a second desk for working. My space is really only big enough for one person so if I have a friend over we move to the dining room table. I'd love to have a larger space for friends! My furniture is also dark like 950nancy room. I don't see many that have the darker Ikea units!

When we were shopping for a townhouse, it was non-negotiable that I have a dedicated space with enough room for all my stuff.
I have a large ell off the family room with a patio door and large window. It's awesome!

So it was either yellowed furniture or show the dust. I opted for show the dust.

We have a loft space at the top of our 2nd story that is my scrapbook space plus a sitting area with a couple chairs and a TV. It isn't a large space and since it is open for all to see I can't be messy or a hoarder.

When we moved into my current house I set up a bedroom as my craft space. When my husband died, my son moved in with me and I moved my craft stuff to my bedroom. Son has since moved out but I have 3 grandkids now and use that room as a play room. In my bedroom I have a 5 x 5 kallax, a tall Alex unit and a good size table.

I have a space in what we consider the basement. It's a 3 level townhouse and it's on the main level with the entrance, garage, and laundry room but the rest of our living space starts on the 2nd floor. I share it with my husband who uses it as an office for his stuff. I have changed the room around so many times! I love having a dedicated space, but the problem I find is that I hate being away from everyone when down there. I feel cut off. I mean, sometimes it's nice to have some time to myself but other times I would like to do my own thing but be around the rest of my family.

Our first floor has a living room, dining room, and kitchen/other dining room/2nd living room type area. Basically the back of the house is one long room, with a fireplace on the end wall. My scrap table is currently in the corner next to the fireplace, which we never use. The computer is in here, an air hockey table, and the guinea pig's pen, plus the door to the garage, the treadmill etc, so it's a multi-purpose space.

I'm in our way-too-small to be a dining room. So, it's my scrap room. Dh built me a closet, too. I keep all of my Michael's cabinets in the closet Then there are wire shelves above that. I like that I can look out the front window and watch the doggies walk by during the day. The room is small, but mighty.

I have a small craft studio (aka spare bedroom) that has its own bathroom and two adjacent walk-in closets. I also do sewing and jewelry making in there, maybe some other crafty things from time to time. I go to a couple of crops a year, but don't get much done (a couple of pages a day) there because I don't plan pages ahead very well and I don't take a lot of supplies with me and I generally design as I go.

I am very fortunate to have a lovely room to myself. When I started scrapbooking, I just had a tote I would get out...first big move got upper cabinets installed in the dining room so I could store things in there and just scrap at the table. Second big move got me a room with a massive closet, which I ended up switching with my daughter as she got a bit bigger so she could have more closet space (I took her smaller room then, but DH outfitted it beautifully with some found furniture and slat walls). This final big move got me a really nice sized for me room with great windows and light. I took the doors off the closet and put the slat walls in there to hold my paper (and keep it away from the light). I have one more storage piece I want, but then I feel it will be perfect.

I scrap at my kitchen table - I would be so happy to have a dedicated scrap room...if I had the money, I would turn my garage into a craft room...but that is okay - I'm grateful for my kitchen table

I haven't been able to scrap in over a year. There is light at the end of the tunnel though! DSO is starting on my she-shed as we speak! It's 10x20 so we'll see how it goes! LOL

We chose the darker IKEA units and I love the look! He’s adding a lot of special mood lighting since we’re lacking natural light. I love seeing everyone’s spaces, thanks for sharing!

I have decreased my papercrafting space. I moved my sewing from the basement to the upstairs bedroom/craftroom. With all that in one room, my papercrafting desk went from 7' long to about 3 feet. It do end up laying things on the sewing machine table beside the papercrafting area and on the bed behind me but ultimately everything has to go back on the papercrafting table. It's a little tight but it ensures that I finish one project before moving to the next.

I work from home all day in my office (and my desk is completely taken up by my work laptop, laptop stand, keyboard, and second monitor) so the only other place in the house to (digitally) scrap is the kitchen/living room/dining room. I sit in my grandfather's leather chair with my laptop, my Diet Coke, and something on the TV (usually dating or cooking shows or scrappy YT videos) to scrap. I don't usually scrap when the kids are here/awake so it's just me or me and my partner who would be fast asleep on the couch after having been awake since 5:30 am.

I have a 12x24 room. Right now it's being renovated with custom cabinets but hopefully it will be done soon so I can get back in it. Before this I always had IKEA alex stuff in there.

I scrapbook at our dining table which works out well. We moved most of our furniture into the one room when the winter started (so we only need to heat that room) and the table is in the window, so it's a nice spot.

I scrap in the home office I share with my husband (and also work in myself). I have an extra wide standing desk, and I am able to keep my current scrapbook project off to one side. I use a rolling cart (the We R Memory Keepers one with the lunch trays), a tall bookshelf, and a cube system in the room's small closet for stash and album storage. It works. I often wish I had my own space, but I did have my own space before our kids came and I was never in it because I got lonely. Haha.

My scrap studio is 14' X 18'. Today it is so disheveled I have a hard time to find anything. Over the past couple of years I have just stacked stuff in there, waiting for an opportunity to do some crafting. Now that the Queen has left (to a much better situation than I could provide) I will be able to spend time out there. First I have to get the house back in order. I am going to have a garage sale after I sort thru everything. Here are 3 photos of my space from BC (before covid). https://www.flihttps://www.flickr.com/photos/22190803@N07/50567843527/in/dateposted-public/ ckr.com/photos/22190803@N07/50567709926/in/dateposted-public/ www.flickr.com/photos/22190803@N07/50567843182/in/dateposted-public/I hope you are doing well, Don. I am glad you will have a little more time to do something that makes you happy.

950nancy , I'm doing OK, on my way to well. I am back out in the studio an hour or two each day. The place is in such a disarray it is hard to know where to start. Instead of cleaning up as I should, I made a bunch of Valentine cards. One of the neighbors asked if I would sell them some. I told her she couldn't afford them, but I would be more than happy to give a dozen cards. We were both pleased.

I have a guest bedroom.. my mom stays in it when she comes to visit... I have a day bed in there and i cover the bed with heavy plastic and put a plywood platform on top.. the plywood goes behind the bed when she is here... she has a dresser and I have the rest of the room with bookshelves and dressers and a desk and the closet... I would love to have the complete space because it isnt a really large room.. but that would mean my mom would no longer be here to visit or have the ability to travel.... so I dont wish for it to hard...

I have a dedicated scrap room/home office in one of our unused bedrooms. It's been my work from home space up until a couple of weeks ago when we rearranged space in our basement so I could have a separate WFH space away from my personal (desktop) computer. (And away from my scrap room LOL - hard to concentrate on work when you're surrounded by all the tempting scrap projects!) I still have my personal PC there (desktop & laptop) and my Silhouette Cameo, but no longer use that area to WFH. The rearrangement was mostly driven by me wanting to use the extra-large monitor that my office gave me to use with the work laptop, which just didn't fit with my existing WFH setup in the dedicated room. (My personal monitor & desktop PC already take up most of the real estate there since I changed to a smaller desk last year and I didn't want to share and crowd it in.) The bonus is that the new WFH setup in the basement also gave me a larger sewing area in a nearby nook. My sewing area was already set up in the basement but it was tiny so we enlarged it and got me a new office chair that I can use for both sewing on one end of the nook and WFH at the other end. I love it! So now I have WFH and sewing nook in the basement, and gaming/play/personal PC and scrapping in my dedicated craft space/personal office. I have a Kallax unit in the closet, a 6-ft long table for crafting, lots of shelving and a wonderful sturdy armoire that holds lots of crafting stash. My scrap room is on the small side but has great light/windows and is next door to a bathroom for easy access to a sink (inking/stamping and watercolor). I'm still working on some reorganizing in the crafting space, because I went back to work full-time just before Thanksgiving and haven't had much time for organizing in between work and the holidays. I wish I could have room to have a friend over to scrap, but there just isn't space for that in this room. I'm jealous of all of you who have room for friend to come and scrap! Love your space and setup, cmpeter!

We are in a rental house as we are building. I’m using an odd “room” as my scrap room. It’s not really a room as it’s not large enough to be a bedroom - I guess it’s more like a big closet. I have some desks lining the walls and forming a U to work in. I like thar i can basically reach anything in this room without getting up. 😂 However, i really do need more space so I'm looking forward to my new room someday.
