I signed up for this scrap school summit and wanted to share here. scrapschoolsummit.com/I opened an Amy Tangerine email (which I hardly ever do!) and it was advertised as a free event. It's free if you watch videos at the select time, but for $47, which apparently is a surging price, you can access later. I liked some of the digital topics advertised and could use something to boost my inspo right now. Teachers are Kristen Tweedale, Jennifer Wilson, Victoria Marie and a bunch more I recognize from here or there. Not sure if it's being promoted on social media as I am off of everything right now. Looks like giveaways and downloads and things like that too. Kind of an interesting model of pricing, but compared to a lot of events, it seems affordable. I def don't have time to do any of it live, but will try to catch some videos on replay.

I subscribe to Simple Scrapper, and it was advertised as free. I didn't realize that it costs $47 to access later. I almost never watch anything live, and I tend to watch videos in bits and pieces. With all of the content I already pay for, I don't think it will be worth it for me.

Ooh, this looks good - just signed up. Especially keen to catch Mandy Ford teaching about using printables - she's a favourite of mine. Thanks for sharing.

I signed up and paid to watch later because you get a lot of stuff from the presenters.

I watched today’s videos, and have to say that I’m really glad I did not pay for this. Jennifer Wilson was good, and she certainly is a pro at this, but the rest were not worth the watch IMO. Hopefully tomorrow is better.

Hopefully tomorrow is better. I agree! As I watched Jennifer's video, I was grateful that I have a membership to Simple Scrapper, and I learned a couple of things about using the PSD templates available on her site. I was not inspired by the other presenters...maybe tomorrow will be better.

Hopefully tomorrow is better. Yup I agree. I signed up for this and debated on paying for the hall pass, but I am really trying not to spend money on things that aren't really needed. So I figured I will just make an effort to watch within 24 hours. After watching yesterdays I am so glad I didn't pay for the hall pass. I do hope today and Wed. are better.

TFS, I haven't had time to check out videos yet. Hopefully will get something out of it with that. I did download some of the items included in the Hall Pass, various digital kits and such. Hoping to be able to check out the videos some time this week or weekend.

Wow. Today I couldn’t even stand to watch some of the videos after starting them. I watched Sabrina’s, and appreciated that she didn’t spend half the time promoting herself like some of the others have done. PSA: For those who haven’t watched, no need for FOMO.
Hoping the last day has some good videos.

After reading the themes I didn't watch any of the videos.

I did the same as cbscrapper. I started watching some videos but then had to stop. There was one video yesterday in which the presenter was breathing hard, and it didn't stop. I don't know if she was ill or nervous, but it was not pleasant. I think I've just been spoiled with great scrapbooking content, both paid and unpaid. I've checked out a couple more videos, but the styles are too cutesy and remind me of the way I used to scrapbook twenty years ago. The digital content was also way too basic and seems geared to folks who have never done digital/hybrid scrapbooking before. I skipped over to Victoria Marie's video because I've always enjoyed her process videos, but the video cuts off while she is still talking. I know it's been mentioned in the Facebook group, and there is a plan to re-upload, but it was disappointing not to see the end of the one video worth watching.
