I want to start doing my books for our furbabies....but don't want to do 12x12...would prefer to use 8 1/2 x 11....and would like to find some sketches to use for doing these...in addition to coming up with my own pages....anyone else do these?  I am so in tune with 12x12.....but would prefer to use the other size for these. Thanks for any help and ideas! |

There are a few sketches, but more like 8.5x11 inspiration (as well as other sizes) on my Pinterest board. |

There is tons of 8.5 x 11 inspiration in the Q1 Sharing Thread on this board! Lots of pretty layouts to look at there. 😊 If you want to watch some videos, I suggest the Stretch the Sketch video series on YouTube. Off the top of my head, Kelsey Cherry participates in that series and has links to other people taking part in it as well (in the video description). The whole premise is to take a 12x12 sketch and squish it into a smaller layout, or stretch it into a double page one. While not 8.5 x 11, Laura Alberts frequently scraps in a 9x12 size as well. |

not sketches per se but nylene and I both scrap 8.5x11 - if you look at previous Sketchtember threads here, you can see how we've adapted those sketches to the smaller size |

Scrapbook and Cards Today has 8.5 x 11 sketches. But you could also convert the 12 x 12 and card sketches into 8.5 x 11 page layouts by using the ideas and adjusting for the page size. scrapbookandcards.com/sketches |

Becky Higgins used to do 8.5x11 sketches way back in the day
I pretty much only scrap 8.5x11 so I print most photos as 2 on a 4x6 print. Gives me more room on the page.

My pinterest, I have a board for the number of photos (ie. 1 photo, 2 photo's, etc) and then within that it is board it is broken down between 12x12 and 8.5x11. I am liner, fairly clean scrappper (I like grids and lines) but hopefully that will help. Disney layouts, travel have their own board but still have subsections for 8.5x11

refugeepea's Pinterest board has been my go-to for years when I need an 8.5x11 idea. I usually check hers before I check my own! Thanks to those who posted other sites for ideas. I found that my grandchildren had a hard time holding a 12x12 albums on their laps and they always wanted to see their latest pages. I have been very happy with my smaller size. Linda has posted lots of that size pages. I get great ideas from her too. Check the sharing threads for the past quarters and months.

I was going to suggest Victoria Marie Designs. It looks like scrappypeanut has pinned some of her pages. Did she bring out a sketch book recently? She did, I found it here. She has 12x12 and 8.5x11 designs. |
