I'm logged in to Costco Photo but don't see a mechanism to do this. Update: I had success using the link below to begin the process. It is in progress and may take 24-48 hours!!! As of Saturday CostcoPhotoCenter.com WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE
We're also supposed to be able to download the Costco photos onto our computers but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. (Just read that this option is only for those Costco customers who don't transfer to Shutterfly. petapixel.com/2023/01/10/costco-shuts-down-online-photo-center-directs-customers-to-shutterfly/#:~:text=For%20those%20who%20do%20not,their%20CostcoPhotoCenter.com%20account%20information.) How do I opt in to Shutterfly? Go to accounts.shutterfly.com/costco to transfer your CostcoPhotoCenter.com account to Shutterfly. Who do I contact for assistance transferring my CostcoPhotoCenter.com account to Shutterfly? Shutterfly’s customer service is available by phone or chat. Phone support is available Mon-Fri from 7AM-4PM Pacific Time at (877) 284-9610. Chat is available 7 days a week from 7AM-4PM Pacific Time by going to Shutterfly.com and clicking “Live Chat” in the lower right corner of the screen

I know I got an e-mail about this, but haven't had a chance to do anything with it.

I know I got an e-mail about this, but haven't had a chance to do anything with it. It doesn't take very long... you need your Costco #, and your email address. Apparently I already had a Shutterfly account though (I forgot about that) so that might have made it easier. It does say it will take 24-48 hours to finalize the transfer otherwise it took about 2 minutes.

Thanks for the info1 I have so many old pictures saved on costco but I will never be able to figure out how to do this. My husband will have to try to figure it out tomorrow after work. I haven't put pictures on in years as they changed it and I couldn't figure out the new way. So it's possible my photos are no longer there. Too bad I didn't realize this last week when my college kid was home, haha! she is good at this stuff.

There is nothing to do, click the link, put you Costco number in, log into Shitterfly. In 24-48 hours you will get an email saying they transfered.

I made my last order for prints 2 days ago. About 250 from our trip in October. They are already being mailed to me so they must not be getting a lot of last minute orders. I don't know if I'll transfer any photos or not. The only ones I have on the Costco site are ones I got prints for.

Jan 23 5:30 pm I must have been working on it, I have a email to verify my Shutterfly account (had to create a new account for new Shutterfly Canada site, I have used the US site before). Jan 26 8:14 am I got a confirmation email saying my files have been transferred.

Then I had to login to Shutterfly with my account there (I think email and maybe a password that was saved in my iPad) to connect the two and it did the transfer by itself.

I just transferred everything just for the heck of it. Their 4x6 prints are currently 16 cents each whereas Costco's are 11 cents. Bummer

Might be good to try yourself to boost your confidence, then your husband can be your backup in case you need it. It really is as simple as using the link and clicking transfer. You just need your Costco photo center password. Costco membership number, and Shutterfly password. Good luck!

My understanding was that, while we will no longer be able to order photo products from Costco, our photos will still be available to transfer to Shutterfly for the next YEAR.

You should also note that it used to be Shutterfly would indefinitely store your files, but they came out with a new policy recently that in order for them to continue storing them, you'd have to make a purchase within an 18 month period.
Shutterfly is also getting rid of their Share Site.

I think you can start one if you don’t have an existing account.

Thank goodness for the reminder, I'd almost forgotten, so thank you flanz !

So will the Costco pics show up in Shutterfly? Yup, all of my photos uploaded to Costco over the years were transferred over.
