My sister has a giveaway table at her work and someone put a ScorePal Scorebord on it and she grabbed it for me, because it "looked crafty". I am trying to be incredibly delibrate about what I bring into my small space as I am feeling very overwhelmed these days. Would you keep it? Do you use your ScorePal (if you have one) a lot? If you don't have one, do you wish you did? It is the larger one and came with the bone folder. Thanks!

I consider mine an absolute necessity but I'm a card maker as well as a scrapbooker. I've only ever used it to make cards.
You could always look up videos on YouTube using it for scrapbook pages and see if it's something you'd fine useful. Although, I just realized that if you like to make mini albums (actually constructing them, not just using an 6x8 album or whatever) then it would be useful for that.
But really, it has limited use in scrapbooking and you're feeling overwhelmed, so probably best to re-home it.

If you want to make card bases absolutely yes. Also there are a million techniques you can do with a score board such as gate gold cards, window cards, etc. it’s a very useful tool to have. You can also use it to line up things straight. I wouldn’t give up mine and I have a large and small one.

I don't have one and it would be super helpful for cards although someone here showed me how to use my trimmer as a substitute. I've never wished for one when scrapping though.

I love my Scor-Pal! I got it about a year ago and am so glad I did. It has made card making a lot easier. Especially if I try Fancy folded cards or one that have a lot of angles.
I have a cube system and I just slide it along the side of the top cube where I have my Iris containers for 12x12 paper. Fits nicely right there.

It is the first one, so none of the updates of the ones I am seeing on youtube, but I still think it might be helpful. I do make cards as well as scrapbook, so I'll see if I like it and if not, I'll donate it! Thanks all!

A score board is a must for card makers and I have the big score pal. That being said, I think it’s too big and much prefer my Martha Stewart mini score board.

I have a large and small score board. I love them both! I use the large one to score my 8.5x 11 cs before cutting them in half for card bases.
Score my papers for fun fold cards. Mini albums. You can use a score board to create different designs for backgrounds. Jennifer Mcguire has a video on this.

Add me to the list of it’s a must for cardmaking. And you’ve saved a bunch of $$$ that you can now spend on fun stuff, or more tools

Definitely a keep! And take your sister out for a coffee as a thank you.
It won't take up much room when slipped between albums or paper on a bookshelf.

I use mine all the time. But, I wouldn’t want a full size one, I like where my small one fits.

By the way, if you don't have lots of room on your table, like me sometimes, I like it how I can use it on my lap to do the scoring. Mine its standing up with my paper cutters next to my leg, a very convenient place for me.

I would suggest adding a sticker or post-it with the date on it and when you use it make a mark/date on the note and see if how often you actually use it, especially if you've been getting along just fine making cards without it. If it tucks away somewhere out of sight it might not take up much space but also might not ever get used - at least, that's my issue. It would be a great thrift find for a lot of card-makers!

Im the odd one out. I had one and gave it away as I never used it. I buy CTMH bases that are already scored. I found that it was always "off" just a smidge when I did my own.

If you ever make any of those trendy albums with the fold outs and pockets, accurate scoring is a must! I have not attempted one of those since I acquired my ScorPal, but believe me, trying to take on one of those projects WITHOUT one can turn out to be a disaster...
