I'm not talking the super expensive stuff, but more every day/semi precious stones etc that will last.
I got out of the habit of wearing jewelry a number of years ago but am trying to do so again. Dh has bought me a few really nice pieces for special occasions etc, but I'd like some every day stuff. But long lasting, high quality. Especially earrings as I need to watch the metals due to a nickel allergy.
What brands do you like/where do you buy your jewelry?

Most of my favourites for earrings are: Swarovski...but always check the size when buying on line, the look cute but some of them are huge. Thomas Sabo and going up in price a little Georg Jensen

One of my favorite jewelry designers is JulieVos. Her pieces are pricey, but they are really unique and well made. My sister in law gave me a reversible pendent necklace several years' ago which I wear 2 or 3 times a week because it goes w/ everything. I always get compliments on it. I also have two pairs of Juli Vos earrings and I get compliments on them all the time. I also find nice earrings and other jewelry at Talbots. I often wait to the end of the season when everything is deeply discounted.

I just bought a couple of pieces from Mejuri in Boston. They also have an internet presence. Simple, classic. My pieces were vermeil but they also have 14K gold. Two year guarantee.
I bought three necklaces from Brinker and Eliza which are awesome, but the company seems to have some production issues. One of the necklaces was "on preorder". Ordered beginning of November thinking I could wear them at the holidays but received two of the pieces two weeks ago after a series of emails, and the last piece I finally received late last week. I guess they were waiting to ship everything at once in order to save shipping costs.
I just bought another vermeil pair of earrings from Quince.com that was very like one that was out of stock at Mejuri. I've ordered several clothing items--cashmere sweaters, silk bias-cut skirts, shearling slippers--from Quince because of the amazing prices. I've been very happy with the quality of everything so far.

One of my favorite jewelry designers is JulieVos. Agreed. Last year DD and DH gave me JulieVos earrings and I wear them quite a bit. Lots of unique designs. No problems with the metals for me. James Avery - an oldie but goodie! So many pairs stretching back 30 years in my collection. They do trend more classic than trendy though.

Thanks ladies, that's a good list. So I will be spending the evening checking them all out! We just bought several airline tickets and had a big vet bill (and probably more to come),so I won't be buying much of anything quite yet, but getting a feel for what I like etc.

Another vote for Julie Vos. I’m obsessed with Julie Vos earrings - I have quite a few pairs and wear them almost daily.

I just got a new bracelet from Bryan Anthony's that I just love. They seem mid price/quality range to me.

I have Mejuri 14K pieces I never take off, even in the shower or pool (not that I go to the pool often). I’ve had them for at least 3 years. They still look perfect after all this time.
