If you have a smart phone, what weather app do you use?
I use AccuWeather.

If you have a smart phone, what weather app do you use? I use AccuWeather. I have the weather app on the iPhone. However, funny story: when my Mom and her husband were visiting, 3 of us have the same app and my Mom has your app. We would check our weather at the same time, within 4 feet of each other and would have different predictions on the expected precipitation and wind. We were so confused, but found it highly entertaining.

Wunderground seems the most accurate here. I like that it gives estimates for the amount of rain not just that it’s going to rain. I also have the apple and weather channel apps.

The weather channel, and the weather app from a local station, which I find to be the most accurate.

I use whatever came on my iPhone. It seems fairly accurate. I get a kick out of when it tells you that it will rain for 23 more minutes. Such precision. 😂 If I want more information, I’ll check out Weather Underground.

AccuWeather and WTForecast. WTForecast is sarcastic and uses salty language, but it speaks to my soul during the summer living in Vegas.

There were 4-5 of us and everyone's phone reported a different temperature. We were all in my sister's home. It was amusing and made us aware that none of the apps were 100% accurate.

My Radar Pro, for watching incoming weather. A (Semi) local meteorologists weather app, which is mostly powered by Baron Weather.
Not an app, but I like watching Ryan Hall (Ryan Hall Y'all) live broadcasts. I mostly watch on TikTok, but I think he is on every social media platform. I have sat through some storms where he was THE ONLY one who was watching the weather for me, in my podunk rural area. He was calling out town names and township names where I live. The TV weather stations (all out of Des Moines) were not covering anything all all for me. This was straight line winds and tornados that were impacting my area, and not the Des Moines metro. That's when I said I was done with the TV stations for weather. They only care about the rural areas after the storm has been through and there is damage or death. That's when they are on us like flies on poop.

NOAA We were expecting snow last week and of the 4 or 5 phones in the work group, mine predicted the closest to what we actually got.

Foreca
I love it. It’s the closest thing I’ve found to Dark Sky.

Foreca I love it. It’s the closest thing I’ve found to Dark Sky. Dark Sky was the best - but I thought they were bought by Apple, so the Apple weather app has their technology and I've been finding I go to that app more often than the Weather Channel one.

AccuWeather and WTForecast. WTForecast is sarcastic and uses salty language, but it speaks to my soul during the summer living in Vegas. I use WTForecast as well and I feel the same about it, but in the winter (in Michigan)

My Google phone has weather.com built right into my homescreen. It shows the current temp/high & low right there. If you touch it, it takes you to the full forecast. I have no need for any kind of weather app.

I use the national Met Office and Accu weather but I also pay close attention to a Facebook local amateur forecaster who is amazingly accurate.
