We have been in a dry cycle and the beavers have been busy! I have witnessed several beaver dams built on the creeks in our pastures. It's very interesting to see them. The food storage is pretty cool.
It's pretty amazing how they gnaw those trees to fell and also how much corn (stalks and all) they sneak off to build their dams. The paths through the corn show their activity.

We have a camp on a pond that is basically a huge beaver pond. They are such interesting and amazing creatures. Unbelievably hard working with incredible engineering skills with a side of elusive and quirky thrown in. Thanks for sharing the link.

What an interesting article! And I can't help but share this bit of beaver cuteness.
