In honour of Valentine's Day coming up, this week's word for inspiration is SWEET. You can use the word 'sweet' on your layout (or card), you can scrap about someone/something sweet, you can be inspired by sweets and their colours, you can even choose to spell out the word using product names (such as S is for scalloped circle, W is for watercolouring, E is for Echo Park and so on). Twist is to fussy cut something for your layout/card Thank you nylene for catching that I hadn't included a twist. The twist is to fussy cut an embellishment for your layout. I cut trees out of PP and pop dotted them on top of the same trees for my centre right embellishment I choose to be inspired by sweets and used candy colours for my layout as well as the word 'sweet' on an embellishment and several sweet cookies/gingerbread houses on the paper/embellishments. I fussy cut some of the tree cookies and pop dotted them on the same PP.

I love your pages, Linda. Everything about them is SWEET. I love the non-traditional Christmas colors that look wonderful with your photos. Beautiful pages. Is there a twist to this challenge?

A sweet, sweet LO, Linda, with all the generations, and a great challenge! Hmmmm... I have a sweet pic of a couple of brothers holding a heart which I plan to use for my February calendar page... And a pic of one of them holding a cupcake which I could sneak onto a hockey page and maybe meet this challenge... Need to sort my pic's in the morning. My fingers are itching to get scrapping!

Made my decision. Here are the sweet boys! For the twist, I fussy cut the big heart out of the pp, then backed it with torn scraps. February 24 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr This is a lift of a page I saw shared on the Q-1 Sharing Thread. Will include my inspiration when I share there.

grammadee, I left love in the gallery. Cute boys on a cute layout. breetheflea, you had the perfect photos for this challenge. I love the paper you used to mat the photos. It makes them stand out and gives them a stitched look on the edges. I love that punched border on top and bottom. Your clusters are great. I love the numbers on the ice cream cone. Very clever! This is mine. For the twist I fussy cut the white edges off the chipboard butterflies. Sweet Valentine

nylene - oh she is the sweetest looking baby! Love the white heart background and the butterflies! Thanks for playing! I forgot to mention I scraplifted your cut heart background and found that I had one in my designs. Thanks for the inspiration. I didn't do the twist on this one. The only Valentine song I could think of was My Funny Valentine and I wanted to use SWEET. Thanks for hosting this challenge. I love it.
