Welcome Finish It Friday challenges! I'm pretty sure that most of us have some sort of unfinished class/kit/album/project that either needs just a couple of pages more to be finished or maybe you haven't started the class or kit or album at all! I decided that this month I'd focus on getting started or finishing those things that have been taking up space in your house or on your hard drive. Today's challenge is ALBUMS! I went through my albums to see if there were any unfinished pages in them and found an album from 2006 (eek!) that I hadn't finished. I had 3 pages left and got them finished! Your challenge today is to get that album finished (or at least get a page or two done in it). Here are my pages. My sister came out in 2006 to visit and we did a Bay Area tour and these are from the last day of her trip. We went into San Francisco and hit the Golden Gate Bridge and the Metreon for some Hyperbowling. And here's the twist: Participate - even if you just stop in for 1 minute and say "HI!" - in the weekend crop! The weekend crops are back and it would be so great to see more smiling faces! I will definitely stop in to say hi. Look on the general scrapbook board for crop info! POINTS: Challenge team members can earn points from playing along, but if you are not a member of a team, just ignore this: Earn FIVE points for meeting the challenge + a BONUS of TWO points if you meet the twist on the same project. Bonus 500 points for completing ALL 28 challenges--with or without the twist--on or before March 7th.

I'm determined to finish every challenge this month. This one gives me a yucky chore to tackle, so thank you for the nudge...
I don't scrap "by album". I scrap what I want from various years, collect a huge stack of layouts, then go back and slot them into their appropriate album. I'm a *little* behind on this. So today I will grab 50 layouts and get them into their albums!

Ooooh... I took my albums this past weekend for the dgk's to look through, and I see I still have a couple of spaces in last summer's book. Will need to flip through my photos and see if I have the photos I had intended to scrap for them. And kitbop, that sounds like a great take on this challenge. Hopefully sorting through those pages will be less of a job and more of a stroll through memory lane...

I also don't scrap chronologically so my albums are never complete, because I could always add another layout.. but while all the pages are in the correct album, they aren't in date order so I think I will choose an album or two or five and put the pages in chronological order.

hmmm...I've been working on this project on and off all month (and it'll take years to finish up, lol). My albums ARE chronological but like kitbop, I scrap what I want to scrap in what ever order that ends up being. That means there are LOTS of gaps. Can I identify a month that has gaps and finish it off? Finishing off a whole a year is, I think, unlikely to be accomplishable in a reasonable amount of time. But I have been working on September 2015 and there are 6-ish layouts left to go...

I'm also going to follow kitbop I have a stack of about 30 21/22 layouts that need to go to their albums. As well - 2022 needs to be put in some sort of order.

I discovered while working on chronological-izing 2015 that anything after early November seems to not be in the album or I didn't scrap it. I guess now I DO have an album to complete... Did I just forget? Did they get put in the wrong album? Was I in a super bad mood and not wanting to scrap Thanksgiving and Christmas that year? I have no idea...

I've finished two more pages for my 2021 PL album! I'm so close to finishing it, I only have 9 or 10 pages left to make, so I'm going to make an effort to work on getting some more pages completed this quarter.

Here is my summer LO for ya, jediannie! And I hosted a crop yesterday for the twist. Farm Yard Work by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I noticed after posting this that my little cb banner reading "You bring the sunshine" had slid down under the top edge of the photo on the right hand page. I have since received it, gave it a piece of my mind and secured it with liquid adhesive.

Chinagirl828 - you can do it! The end is in sight! Great job! grammadee - love how you used the film frames around the focal point of the photos on the left. The flow of this layout is great too, my eye goes easily from photo to photo!

I didn't complete an album - that's way more than one month worth of effort - but I did complete January and February 2013. Here's my final page from that.

I've finished another page for my 2021 PL album. Thanks for the accountability and the challenge to get some older projects closer to finished.

Linda - I feel like I cheated because I only had 3 pages to finish in album so you're good. I like the sprinkle-looking paper you used! Chinagirl828 - glad to help you get some older layouts done! Such a fun layout, it flows so nicely.

I don't do albums either but I have photos separated into page protectors and I found one I have put off doing for 13 years. I did some of my ScrapFest photos years ago, but had these two of us at 2 dinners. Thanks for encouraging me to finish up. jediannie , your albums are beautiful. I wish I could get that style to work for me. I think I'm stuck in my rut. Linda , what a cute double page cake auction page. I caught this in the Sharing thread! grammadee and Chinagirl828, you have love in the gallery. ScrapFest 2010 I did get online with the Peas.

This is my final layout for the album I've been working in, that contains Colorado, Cape Cod, and this wedding. I am so glad to be finished! 28-4-28 Day 4 & 17 by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr
