Have your teens been? Have you?
DD (14) wants to go this summer. It sounds like my idea of torture. However I have a SIL who is a responsible adult who loves going to concerts of all types. She's willing to take dd and is much "cooler" and fun in dd's eyes lol. Yet old enough and responsible enough to make sure dd is safe etc.
I'm researching it but have no idea if this is appropriate for teens or not. We're not at all prudes. Swearing doesn't bother us, mild drug/sex references/lyrics aren't going to bother us. But I don't want any super violent/drug laden lyrics or heavy drug/alcohol use in the audience. Both I are SIL are seeing what we can find online about the tour in general and this year's acts, but I figured I'd ask here too.

I have no idea about any of the bands that play now, but I used to go every summer as a teen and young adult. I have lots of good memories and I don't feel like I was exposed to anything I hadn't already seen before. I was also a good kid so I didn't seek out trouble .

It's one of the music festivals that's a bit more tame than others. They do food and blood drives at most of the stops and security is very tight. I almost took my kids this summer but there was a scheduling conflict. I would absolutely let her go.

My 18 year old dd has been to the Toronto stop three times. She loves it. One of her friend's fathers attends with them. He usually goes to the daddy daycare for a bit and then explores some of the music. btw, they release a video each week telling you about 3-4 bands that will be playing. This goes on for months. The main stage acts are announced last

My son has gone to it many times. He loves it. I had no issue when he went. He loved the bands and had a good time. But I would never have gone with him. No way.
