Oops! I almost forgot to post this. My apologies. Happy March everyone! Its hard to believe that we are in March with the weather we are having here.Today is really cold and we even have snow in the valley....what is really unusual for this time of the year. Do you have crazy weather where you live too ? I really like this month's sketch ,I can see using this one with all my little leftover ppapers. Video with the printable youtu.be/ZJydJtx8FKEProcess video youtu.be/pRHAPHP2sCAPoints;this sketch makes 8 cards 8x10=80 To collect extras 10 points make your cards birthday themed. And if you donate them to Cards for Cubs lets add an extra 100 points. I hope this will encourage some of you to donate a set or two. Do forget the extra 50 points this month if you have done January, February and March SLoC sketches. Tagging grammadee.

Here is my set. I used the echo park paper kit I found at TM. I was lucky enough to find one for boys and one for girls. And it comes with a sheet of stickers too and lots of cut aparts that will make it easy to make lots of cards to donate. For card base I used one of those pre-made ones I got at hobby lobby on 75% off. http://instagram.com/p/CpSqeSXPX4F

Those are so cute! I need to keep my eyes out for more PP for kiddos (to make Cards for Cubs). I tend to steer away from them since I have so few young children in my life right now....

Too cute I think this will be a good one for scraps and it's always nice to have a 6x6 friendly sketch. I'm looking forward to seeing what the other collab team members have done too.

Here is my March sheet load, ready for Cards for Cubs: I'm really glad I tried colored bases with white matting layers; I think it works much better with these papers. And I loved what the stickers added to yours, azcrafty , so I stopped by HL and found some on-sale, kid-friendly stickers last night. So, azcrafty & grammadee , I made 3 sheet loads this quarter, but one was the CMSS sketch instead of the February one. Do I get the 50 pts? Now that I've stumbled on the idea of using colored bases, I could circle back and try February again if not. Plus, I have 8 birthday and 1 encouragement, so I could use 11 more cards to complete 2 more 10-packs....

Shakti, claim as many of these sets as you create this quarter. And don't forget the bonus of 20 points for every dozen cards you create.

I just realized that I made cards early in the month and then never shared! I made more then I am showing but my lighting on my pics is terrible from that day! So, I just have a couple to share.

I'm working on finishing touches for 17 more cards using this month's sketch. I'm trying to use up random scraps, hence the weird yield. They're not my favorites because I'm *so over* the paper I'm using, but I'm happy to be able to turn junk-paper into cards instead of trashing it. If I can push through and use up the last sheets I can buy some fall paper I actually love this year! How can we be at the end of March already? I really like this card design and had promised myself I would finish this month's SLoC challenge, but although I put together a bunch of other cards--thanks C&C--I didn't even start my SLoC cards. Thanks for sharing all your inspiring cards, babylou, Shakti, azcrafty, joblackford. I loved the sketch when I saw it, and all your different takes on it make me even more determined to use this design in the future.

It's a really great one for using up 2" strips, so handy if you are cutting 4" card panels out of 6x6 paper.

I really like how you deviated from the sketch and used the same pattern for the bottom piece as well. Great cards! You got so many done!

Thank you! This was a great one for using up 2" scraps. I need to make a note for myself because I always end up with 2" cut off the side of 6x6 paper.

I had some 2" strips left of the Catherine Pooler paper that MichyM shared with me so I adapted the sketch to be used without a mat. Both strips are 2" (except for one that I accidentally cut a little smaller) and the graduated bits are 2x2" and 1x2" with the middle one something like 1.75x2" I think. I fudged it a little bit to get relatively even gaps. The other cards I made with this paper are on the April 2023 thread and the random Sheetloads thread, or I think you can click through to my Flickr to see them. Took me forever to finish these and then even longer to take a picture. Honey Bee patterned paper...wish I could buy more of this by the sheet.

Great colors and patterns - I love the florals with the plaid. Perfect sentiment die cut for this design too. It looks like you used an extra piece of tone on tone patterned paper to mat? Lovely cards

Thank you!
Yes, I did. I had trouble limiting the papers from that paper pack.
