Do you lie in bed at night and think of random inventions to improve your scrappy life? Just me??
My idea was inspired by makeup setting spray. A scrappy setting spray!! Because so many stickers and things don’t want to stick, imagine a nice little spray that sets your layout permanently 😁
Ok, what are your inventions?

I want a thing like on the movie Clueless that shows me all my items and I can mix it with all my other items without digging through everything I own. So I type in lemon, and it shows me all my embellishments with a lemon on them, so I don't have to dig through three collections, my yellow bin, my washi, my stamps, my random die cut bin, my scraps, my sticker sheets, and my summer bin. No, I don't know who would make this catalog and keep it up to date.
The date automatically printed on the back of my photos would be more practical though...

A couple of things that have already been invented somewhere, but don't seem to be available anymore and I really really need:
Vellum tape - saw in someone's youtube video but I can't seem to find to purchase 3-d star punch - Shimelle has this and I have never been able to find one stateside
A couple of other punches I would like but have no idea if they've ever made:
A 4-point star punch An 8-point star punch (the 8-point star that makes you think circus or comic book)

3M makes a vellum tape runner. It's not perfect but it's better than regular tape runner. My old boss at the scrapbook store I worked at many years ago suggested to WeR to make a cordless glue gun and I think they made it. I told her she should have gotten money for the idea.

I always imagine something like a bar code reader that you can scan the item into your inventory and it would automatically catalog it. The closest is trying to take photos and keep inventories, but would be nice if it was automatic! crabbybear Not sure if it's still around but WackyTac had a good vellum tape.

I own that cordless glue gun! It's great. Still works after a decade at least. I also have vellum tape from a decade ago that still works. I can't remember who made it, though.

A pen that never runs out of ink, never smears, magically makes my penmanship look its best, corrects spelling mistakes, and writes perfectly straight and level.

I do daydream about...what my "perfect for me" scrapbook area, room, etc... would look like if money and space constraints were no object.

I have to admit, when I first saw this thread, I thought it said scrappy “interventions”! Plus, in my feed it was right above the “when is enough” thread, lol!
What I would like is a white pen that works longer than the first few times you use it, maintains its white color on the project and its opacity.

While I neither daydream about scrapbooking nor am an inventor, I like the idea of a robot that deep cleans my craft room, maintains an up-to-date inventory of supplies, & ensures pens are functional/magical! A couple of things that have already been invented somewhere, but don't seem to be available anymore and I really really need: Vellum tape - saw in someone's youtube video but I can't seem to find to purchase 3-d star punch - Shimelle has this and I have never been able to find one stateside A couple of other punches I would like but have no idea if they've ever made: -A 4-point star punch -An 8-point star punch (the 8-point star that makes you think circus or comic book) Vellum tape: I've used the E-Z Runner Permanent Fine Adhesive (purple dispenser) from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L for over a decade. 3D star punch: I don't follow Shimelle, but recall a Momenta Star Embossing Punch sold at Tuesday Morning pre-Covid. A quick Google search shows a similiar Bira 1.375" Star Embossing Punch available. (Note I've never heard of the company, so am unfamiliar with its products/quality.) 4-/8-point star punches: Another quick Google search yields the SU! Starlit Punch that creates six different sized/shaped stars, including both a 4- & 8-point. (Note I've also never purchased SU! products, but have seen them recommended here.)

I have a cordless glue gun, but it’s not WRMK. I’ve had it for at least 15 years.
I like the magical pen idea mentioned above.

It's a cool punch and I am a SU customer and never noticed it. It looks like maybe there used to be a coordinating stamp, but if that still exists, I can't find it.
