Yippee! I've been waiting (im)patiently for you to post these (again haha).
Hmmm, which one to choose first?

Great way to use that sketch, Linda. The cardstocks you chose remind me of the inside of a train passenger card. Love in the Gallery, kitbop. Have printed off your sketches, and am hoping to play with one of them tomorrow.

Here is my take on that last sketch, kitbop . The Vicki Boutin pp kinda suggested a loose row of circles. I added to hers with circles cut from a couple of other papers, and kept the looseness of it all. Dreaming Big by Gramma Dee, on Flickr This is my dgd's Grade One photo. It is not the one I had planned to put on this cover page of her grad album, but when I unearthed it while looking for the cute baby pic, I thought it would work well for this.
Haven't made a paper medallion in years, and my first couple of attempts did not work. Then I remembered... MATH... and figured out the ratio for width to length of the strip. Last time I attempted one of these, I folded free hand. The addition of the Scor Pal to the process made a big difference to that part of the process All that white space--with lines, yet--is begging me to write and write and write. But I am working on leaving some open areas on my pages, so have--so far--restrained myself...

Thanks for three fab sketches kitbop . I chose the one with the circles, although I daresay I will be back to tackle the other two at some stage. I liked how grammadee off-set her circles, and wanted to do the same. I actually used a 'Stacked Pieces' template for the rings and circles.

Linda, grammadee, AussieMeg - I love seeing the different interpretations. Loose circles - yes please! The pared down quadrants but keeping the central element title - totally! #sketchylove

Wow, @scrappy rabbit - that looks AMAZING, it belongs in a magazine! I didn't think that sketch could look elegant. I love how your title also explains what we are looking at.

I'm back with another layout from these sketches, which was perfect for a piece of paper I had with hearts begging to be fussy-cut. I took liberties and added more photos to the page as well, since it was my LAST wedding layout and I didn't want to do another page! Sketchy Saturday March 4 by scrappy rabbit, on Flickr
