I need to label all of my Iris boxes and scrapbook albums. I looked at label makers on Amazon and I don't have the faintest idea which one to pick. The whole Bluetooth thing throws me off. The last time I used one it had a keyboard.
Anyone have a label maker they love?

I use a Brother P-Touch (PT-D200). It's an old model that I bought it in 2015 and it's still going strong. Before this I used a Casio that worked well.
My advice is to only buy authentic Branded label tapes. The off-brand I bought was not the good deal I thought when it didn't print clearly or fully and the printing rubbed off. :/

I had a P-touch and the best deal on cartridges was Costco. I now have a Dymo, but it's fairly new so I haven't used it that much yet. Both have keyboards.

We have two P-Touches here. I have one of the little ones that takes the narrower uncoated tapes and DH has the bigger model with the AC adapter that takes wider coated (for outdoor use) tapes.
Mine is, iirc, used off of eBay after two identical (to each other; similar to the current) ones I had gave up the ghost and stopped working after about 15 years or so. It's a PT-70. His is in another room, but I can go look if you're interested.

I have the Brother P-Touch as well and like it. Buy it at Joann's with a coupon as they rarely go on sale. The ribbon goes on sale often.

Another P-touch vote. I really like mine. I have this one but it looks like it's not available anymore. P-Touch PTD210

I have a DYMO LetraTag. It only has 1 font, but has 5 size settings. It will print vert. & horz. Keyboard is alphabetical instead of qwerty. I like the size.

This post reminded me - I found a large label maker while going through my Mom's stuff a few years ago. It's in it's own case, has an instruction book and still had tape in it. Turns out it's a Brother P-Touch 1800, and with 6 AA batteries I found out it still works!
Now to see if the labels will stick on the plastic zip folders I bought for C&C.
Thanks! I've never had one like this before, all mine were hand-held and way smaller. Looking forward to labeling EVERYTHING!

I have a Brother P-Touch with a QWERTY keyboard and I bought a cord for it, so I don't waste batteries.
I also have a Brother P-Touch Cube that I love!!! It's bluetooth and I use an app on my phone to create and print the labels. LOVE this one. I can use any font that I have on my phone.

DH says I buy things just to label and organize. And he's probably right!

This sounds like the one that I have as well. It's probably 20 years old and the tape cartridges are still sold, so I keep using it. DH bought me one what works with the computer, but I returned it. I just wanted a simple device to carry with me and to use on the spot. This one works for 99% of my needs. If I need another font or something fancier, I use address labels on the computer that I cut down or my Cameo.
