I sold my Copics several years ago, but I've recently wanted to try my hand at coloring. I have some Spectrum Noir tri-blend markers, and those are OK, but I think I want something with a brush tip.
Has anyone used Altenew's Artist Markers? If so, what's your opinion on them? If not, what alcohol ink markers do you use (if you use them)?

I haven't tried those but I have Ohuhu markers and I've been happy those - they aren't refillable like Copics but they are also at a much lower price point. I got mine on Amazon

I have the full collection (at least prior to the recent release of two new sets of 12) of Altenew's alcohol markers. I tried a cheap set from Michael's to see if I liked the medium and when I did, started comparing brands. I chose Altenew for the following reasons:
1) Brush nib and fine (not chisel) tips 2) Refill ink and replacement brush nibs available (like Copics) 3) I like the way they organize their blending groups 4) Bought each of my sets at 45% off, or around $2/marker
Now I'm lusting after their two new sets, but stubbornly figuring they'll go on sale eventually.

I have copics and ohuhus. Since I'm not an artist, the Ohuhus are just fine... although the copics do have better colours imo. I have a few of the tri-blends - did you know you can get those in brush tip as well? Although again, I'm not a huge fan of their colours! I haven't tried the altenew ones, but now I want to

I collected all nine of their original sets one or two at a time when they were marked down like this.
Now I'm stubbornly waiting for the two new ones to go on sale.
I like the colors and the blending families, but I've never used Copics, so I can't say how they compare.

I have Altenew, Copic and the Ohuhu. Use them all - what I really like about Altenew is the sets match their inks. They color nicely too! Here's a flower I colored

Hoping this is a good place to post this. Altenew is offering a new virtual event, focused on alcohol marker coloring taught by Kelly Taylor: link
