I have the 12x12 Basic Grey magnetic mat with magnetic ruler and small magnets. I used the heck out of it and it is pretty worn and bent up from traveling to retreats. So was on the look out to replace it. Found this www.hsn.com/products/totally-tiffany-1275-x-1275-rotating-design-board-and-t/20901530?query=20901530&isSuggested=true Totally Tiffany rotating board with magnetic mat and ruler! I am so excited to try it out but will have to wait at least a month as I'm in the processes of moving my craft room and everything is packed up until the new carpet is installed. The rotating table comes with a clip to hold the mat onto the board - it is meant to use for other crafts as well which is why the mat isn't permanently affixed - BUT since I only scrapbook I plan to affix the mat to the board myself so the clip isn't in my way. It only comes with the ruler so I'll save my small magnets from by Basic Grey mat and use with it. Anyone else have one of these? Any cons or issues to watch for?

I like the concept of this, but I am not sure how it would feel to work above a surface. I do like that it isn't for left or right handed people. Personal gripe of mine as a left hander.
I just got two of the Versa mats from Close to My Heart this morning. They aren't magnetic (not 100% sure). I don't need the swivel and I have a magnetic mat for other projects when I need it. I just really wanted something that will work with 2 pagers that didn't hang off the end. My other cutting mats have all been 22 inches wide by 17 inches. It bothered me that my layouts hung off by an inch or two. My left brained self is really excited for the papers to have a grid to sit in.
A friend of mine has the tilted magnetic mat and she loves it. The tilt would drive me crazy, but she sees it as being able to see her stuff better. I see it as a gravity problem. We all see things so differently.

I like this but since I just bought the Ranger Wendy Vecchi MAKE ART Stay-tion-All-In-One Magnetic Board I think I can just buy a cheap lazy susan turntable, stick it to the bottom and accomplish the same thing.

Okay, so my question is...does the mat lock? Like can you lock it from rotating? Because I can see it moving a little while they were messing with the tags. No way would I want to work on a surface that moves.
And cake decorating? No. No no no no no. You get a round, higher level cake decorating table.

I do not think it locks - I hadn't thought about that so I'm hoping that doesn't annoy me also. won't be the first tool though that I use once and then relegate to a drawer

We all see things so differently. I think I will be OK with the slight elevation. Would definitely take the layout off the mat while journaling as I would want it on a flat level surface. I had considered the tilted mats as well (can't remember what they are called) but I just can't see myself working at that angle either.

I have the 8.5x11 version of this for card making. Works great when coloring!

I have the smaller rotating board. I put the totally tiffany ditto tool tote on top and it works great as a spinning desktop tool station. Hope it works for your needs. I always have good luck with her stuff.

I have the totally tiffany 12x12 and a smaller one. I have my big shot on the 12x12 and use the smaller one for coloring on the go.
