We have LVP flooring. Silly me thought the Bona was doing a good job. NOPE! I wiped up a spill with a paper towel. Let's just say the towel was no longer even close to white.
My girlfriend suggested 1 cup vinegar with a gallon of warm water. I know vinegar is a miracle working liquid. I just thought I'd check here to see what you guys have used.
TIA- Ginger

I use Mrs. Meyers concentrate with water and either a microfiber mop or the Libman tornado mop. I never felt that any of the spray “systems” actually cleaned the floor.

I wondered about a regular mop, but I'm afraid to get too much liquid on the floor. This is our first time with this type of floor. In the past it's been carpeting and tile. Long, long ago in a galaxy so far away we did have hardwood as it was a very old house. I just used a mop because I wasn't concerned about damaging the floor.

Did anyone else wonder why they were cleaning Lisa Vanderpump? Just me?
Anyway, I use the Shark Steam mop. Normally, I will just use it alone, with water. The other day I was on a crazy clean thing. So, like an above poster, I used the Mrs. Meyers floor cleaner but used the steam mop to do the swiping. I don't know if it was any cleaner but I felt it was.

I was told NOT to use a steam mop. I'd read what the manufacturer recommends. I feel like my LVP gets clean with a Swiffer mop/solution.

You can install it in bathrooms and kitchens so I wouldn't worry about damp mop water. Some of it is completely waterproof. The flooring it's shouldn't have a problem with water and if it's installed tight enough it won't leak down to the plywood floor. Our flooring guy said you probably have an hour to wipe up a spill.

We bought our LVP from a builder’s overstock place so it didn’t really come with any cleaning instructions, but excessive Googling said to use a mild non abrasive cleaner with a microfiber mop. No steam, bleach or ammonia.

I was told to use a swiffer-type spray mop and put 3 drops of Dawn in the water reservoir. Seems to do the job very efficiently on my 3-year-old LVP.

The tornado mop I mentioned gets wrung out well and doesn't leave much water behind. I use it on engineered hardwood and it's fine.

Check with your flooring manufacturer. You don't want to void your warranty. Do not use a steam mop that is a big no no. Most manufacturers want you to use an ph neutral cleaner.

I agree with walkerdill. This is what I use Odoban pH neutral cleaner. I just use a little with one of those O'Cedar spin mops and it works really well. Everything else I tried, including Swiffers, seem to leave residue or film. And I was also told not to use a steam mop.

We were told by the flooring company where we purchased our LVP never to use a steam mop. They suggested Zep neutral floor cleaner and I mix it up in this spray mop. You only have to use a few drops of the cleaner and I mix it with warm water in the mop liquid dispenser. I like this mop because I can use my own solution and not have to buy cartridge refills. I bought an extra microfiber mop cover as well. I just wait until both are dirty and then run them through the washer with soap and vinegar and hang to dry. *The flooring company also said that Armstrong Once and Done is a good cleaner too!

I use a refillable mop like THIS. And fill it 50-50:distilled water and white vinegar. The distilled water helps keep deposits from clogging the sprayer. It works great!

My girlfriend uses something like that. I figure I'll do something, let it dry, then take a damp paper towel and wipe again to see if it's really clean. This stiffer thing makes it appear to be clean but it's not.

Taking in all the good ideas in this thread because as of this afternoon, half of my living room is LVP! The rest of the upstairs should be done tomorrow. Thanks for all the cleaning ideas!

The flooring company that installed ours said a mixture of water, white vinegar and a few drops of baby oil to keep it from looking dull. So far so good.

Do not use a steam mop. My sister just bought a condo and the cleaners hired by the seller steam mopped the floors. And ruined them. The finish dulled, the planks warped, and there was lifting of the top layer. They had to replace all the flooring.
