Please share which choice most closely describes how frequently you purchase (not just peruse) papercrafting supplies in an average year. TIA.

If Tuesday Morning wasn't closing, I'd have voted weekly.

I am currently on self imposed spending restriction, unless I have gift cards to use.
Based on my shopping habits over the past 26+-ish years My shopping always ebbed and flowed with the scrapbook seasonal releases. I might have 2, 3, 4 or more online orders in a month, plus some in store shopping....then no shopping for a month or two or three....until the seasonal releases happen again. I occasionally (2-3-4 times a month) browse and search ebay, for now discontinued brands. One never knows, when someone else will clean out their stash and offer it up for sale. Any store I go in, that has a scrapbook aisle, a craft aisle, etc.... I take a look every time, unless I am in a hurry and have to be somewhere. I only shop at Michaels and Joann if I have a coupon. I only shop at Hobby Lobby, when the paper crafts (stickers and paper) are on sale.

Anyone else going to admit Weekly? Bueller??! Seems like I manage to buy something scrapbook related every week even if it just something small like a box of tape or a new SVG to cut out on my Cricut. I have said on here that recently I took the front room as my scrapbook area and now that I moved all my stuff in there it really is an incentive to pump the brakes on buying because I don't have more room. This week I bought paper storage containers, so even when I try to stop I still am buying. I'll show myself out...

I am also out of room so 😬

I purchase weekly. The digital scrapbook stores that I buy from have weekly 50% off sales, and I pretty much always buy something from one store or another.

I'd shop more often if we had shops that sold scrappy supplies here... I'm on an island off the UK and there is one art shop that sells mainly paints and office supplies. I do an online shop every couple of months from Hey Little Magpie or Papermaze, based in the UK.
I'm just so relieved that they both still deliver here; I'd literally just be using printables and wrapping paper without them.

Too much. I try to buy just when I need something. But I already see making several purchases next month with an upcoming crafting road trip and CKC St. Louis. I already know I will buy new goodies - even though I don't need anything.

Technically, it's monthly with my Paper Person and Silhouette subscriptions.
Other than that, it's very seldom - either if Scrapbook Generation is having a big multi day sale or I am in a town with a real LSS or JoAnns. I hardly ever get anything from the Michaels and Hobby Lobby in town. So maybe a few times a year?
When I was younger, I'd stop by my LSS at least once a week, sometimes more often. I also has assorted subscriptions to SC and AE (along with beauty/lifestyle subs). I could have purchased a really nice car with all of that money. 💸😱
I've gotten to a point where I have too much stuff, I don't really care for a lot of what is out there, I miss shopping in person, and there aren't any crops around me. I'd much rather use my money on other things too.

it varies really
online orders - a few times a year
HL - I'm there weekly but only buy if I need to replenish consumables (usually albums, adhesive or trimmer blades) or there's something on clearance I "need" - I'm pretty stocked up on albums due to recent clearance albums down to $4-5 each.
M's - I'm only there a couple of times a year and rarely spend more than $20 at a time.
J's - I don't remember the last time I bought scrappy stuff there - probably a year ago or so? It's been six months at least since I even stepped foot inside
TM is closing but I typically visited monthly ish but didn't buy much at time - $10-30/visit maybe
DH tends to keep an eye out for scrappy stuff when he goes to thrift stores and yard sales
I have too much stuff...I just picked up a Raskog knockoff in order to make more space on my desk...and there is NO more room for more storage in here so....putting the breaks back on ...

Probably a couple times a month, most months. No set schedule. I usually make at least one stop at a LSS during a month, and then often place some sort of on line order as well. Some months more than one, some not at all.

Forgetting about some digital purchases I make periodically, I voted quarterly. I buy WITL & DD, but beyond that I only go to my LSS a couple of times a year, usually because I need something specific...because I have so much in my stash!
This spring will be the exception as I'm working on displays and centerpieces for DS's graduation party...

Randomly... when I'm scrapping, I'm shopping, and when I'm not scrapping I'm not, but I'm buying stuff for my other hobby instead (books.)
I've been scrapping like crazy lately and I want to buy stuff, but at the moment I can't find anything I want or need...
I bought some clearance paper at our localish craft store two weekends ago because it was cheap, and I placed three online orders in February from various places and I'm probably good until June on the shopping unless I run out of something. When summer starts I'll probably buy enough stuff to get free shipping and not buy again until September... So it probably averages out to bi-monthly or maybe I'm a seasonal shopper.

I mostly shop my stash these days, so if you are referring to consumables such as papers and embellishments, only about once a year now, unless you count the 6 inch paper pad that comes in the occasional Queen & Co. release. I place an order with Queen & Co., or some other die company probably about once every two months on average. If I could buy the Q&Co. dies without the paper pad, I would. I don’t need anymore paper.
If dies and/or stamps are included, then probably every two months on average.
If you include cutting files, such as Silhouette, I have a subscription, so I pay by the month, but am downloading cutting files every week.
Every year I go to one of the conventions. I usually buy some titles from Paper Wizard, but that is only once per year for consumables.
So……because I’m not sure what your definition of supplies is, I’m not sure how to mark the poll.

Maybe I’m fooling myself but I think lately once or twice a month at some times of the year and every couple of months at other times. When I do shop I tend to buy a few things from a few different places and then I swear off shopping for quite a while.

I voted weekly, but that mainly is because of how I budget things out.
Now, I might only buy a digital file some weeks so what left over from my scrappy budget that week will go to a later week in the month.

I’m going to go with quarterly, but that is a guesstimate. My weakness is when I’m visiting my mom, because she had a Tuesday morning and a great Joann really close to her house, and she’s also a crafter so we would go shopping together. That TM is closing now though.

If Tuesday Morning wasn't closing, I'd have voted weekly. I'd be right there with you. Loved just taking weekly run to see if there was anything to work with my stash. Now I head to my local scrapbook store maybe once a month.

Other. None of those options fit my spending.
I can go 3 months without buying supplies. I typically do not buy much June thru August. That seems the be the dry months when items coming out do nothing for me.
If you count basics like adhesive, it could be every month to ever 2 or 3 months. Just depends on how much I create.
I just bought foam adhesive and it has been 2 months since I bought it last.
I am picky about what I buy so I don't ship often.

I was actually about to buy a good haul online because I found every single patterned paper I'm after... only to get a "Shipping options are not available for this country or region" message. I'm in the US. The store is US-based.
Guess I'll call in the morning. Sigh.

I haven’t been scrapping much so I still have plenty of paper and embellishments. Now that I’m starting up again I’ll go through a good deal of my stash. I try to use the die’s and stamps I already have. It of course something will catch my eye. I’m a sucker for flowered and butterflies.

Usually it is once every month or so. Lately it seems like I'm shopping daily! Lol.

I definitely shop in spurts then stay frozen for long periods in between so I chose quarterly. I had a quick look at the last couple of years of orders on sb.com and my local online lss, and I can see I typically place two or three orders a year with them. I order from several different places around Black Friday, but still only consider that one shopping trip, as the orders are all placed on a single weekend.

Not very much anymore. I have so much and being picky about what I get. I got some stuff for Christmas but I think my last purchase was December Daily items from Ali and a Scrapbook store in November I visited.

Like Chinagirl828, I shop in spurts. Once I've bought something, I will often cave and shop a second (and third) source as well. It's like being on a diet - when you cheat, you REALLY let yourself cheat? So that's why it happens every 2-3 months. In February, I made 3 purchases - Disney stuff from SB.com, sale stuff (50% off doodlebug petit print backgrounds, score!) from SSS, and some new 49th and market from my LSS. But I haven't purchased anything since, 7 weeks now. I have 3 online sources, and 2 local stores, and I tend make 3-4 purchases from each every year. I split it up between stores because I almost shop sales or use coupons, or take advantage of freebies. None of the sources have all the things I want, and some have good prices on a few things but awful prices on others. But a new line that I *really* want will also push me to purchase ahead of sales.

I voted monthly, but for paper it really depends on what collections have just come out or what is on a good sale. I might not shop at all for 3 months, then buy a bunch because its new or on preorder. I have been purchasing my adhesives on Amazon and I have a subscription that comes every month.

Did you buy them out of all of their petite print stuff? Haha. That's what I'm trying to buy from a different store online (and will be calling when they open today) and they've got a good bit of it (as in, I will be buying ten sheets of 12 different patterns...except the ones they only have 2 of 🙈).
