Because so many of us no longer have LSS to product test or get reviews from the atore/shoppers, we have to rely on social media. And because it is social media, not all of the reviews are honest. FSN Gillingham, butt kissing, swooning reviews on products doesn't help when we are trying to make a purchase with money that doesn't stretch as far now a days.
So with that said, I have always appreciated pea reviews because we sent hold back! We tell it like it is. Good, bad, and everything in between.
Here is an on going thread where we can share reviews of purchases. Product name, where you bought it, and what you think.
It will be a great reference for so many of us.
Let's use this easy format to make browsing easy.
Product Where purchased (if you want to)
Whatever you want to say about the review product. xxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I am currently on a 49 and Market kick. I bought the paper and a lot of the ephemera that I normally wouldn't buy. My LSS had the full sheet of 12 x 12 rub ons. I was a little leery about buying rub ons because I find that some brands aren't that easy to use. Last night I used the Alena collection to make a honeymoon layout and tried the rub ons. They are amazing. The plastic the rub ons sit on is pretty heavy and it makes it easy to pull back and see if you have missed any part of the rub on. I was pleased with it 100%. Happy about it because I have also purchased the Viken and Curator's Meadow collection for two wedding from last summer.

Blending Brushes
Yoseng 12 Pack Colored Ink Blending Brushes from Amazon
I am super happy with my purchase. I have used them for a solid 3 weeks now. I have learned to pat them gently with darker colors before I start blending on paper or start blending off of the area needed then go onto the paper. That way I don't get streaks or dot marks. I have washed them once so far (just clean them off on clean paper between uses) and let them dry over night. I did have to fluff 3 of the brushes a bit but after a few uses they no longer have a dent in them. And it did not affect blending.

I was ready to ditch my 3D embossing folders until I bought the universal plate system for my Spellbinders Platinum, game changer! I get a much better impression now so I’ll be expanding my collection of folders in the future.

I have many favorite brands, some current, some discontinued. My "favorite of the moment" ebbs and flows and changes, with each line and seasonal releases.
Current favorite of the moment, that I am patiently waiting for a couple of the new lines, to get to the "in stock" status: Paper Rose, available at scrapbook.com as well as the Paper Rose website. They have quite a few lines-themes that I love and have purchased.
Disclaimer: The paper is the slick glossy smooth kind (not sure of the correct terminology).

Ok, I am going to be whiney, but can we have a format so that it is easier to skim if we are looking for a review for something in particular? pantsonfire For example: Product Where purchased (if you want to)
Whatever you want to say about the review product. xxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

lindas when you use a 3D embossing folder try slightly dampening your paper. The images come out way better.

Tim Holtz Media Rotary Trimmer A Cherry On Top 79.99 with PREORDER code
Just posted a longer review on the TH Trimmer thread. Short opinion: Has a steep learning curve with the way you hold/push the blade. Does what they say it will do. Has 6" mark and etched grid on the platform. Would not get it if I made larger cuts, as I don't like swing-out arms to measure. Probably cuts materials better than a lower-priced rotary trimmer, but the similar priced Fiskars Procision can do the same thing if you need the full platform. Not as giddy about it as I thought I would be.
