So my husband got me an Instamax camera and Vagabond for Christmas this year. I ordered them myself. He is not a great shopper and loves it when I find my own stuff. I am getting exactly what I want. Anyone else resort to buying for themselves?

Yes, I just picked up a Coach bag for him to give me for Christmas. I really like " his" taste in gifts. LOL

My husband is awesome with gifts (including scrapbooking supplies) so I'm trusting him...and the giant box already under the Christmas Tree with my name on it!

Yup! A couple of gift under the tree bought by me from the hubs! None scrap related though. A sweater, sweatpants, and a jacket. He never gets the sizes right! However, there is an unwrapped gift under the tree from him- one of those We R at home Shutter Memo Holders from Michaels. It is a big gift, so he just put it under the tree, LOL.

Our first year of marriage I told my husband that I wanted a pear of sweats. Any color but grey. I had grey sweats under the tree. I usually make a list and am very specific.

I either buy for myself or give him a very detailed list with colors.

I usually do. But not this time. I recently lost one of my diamond earrings, and after a lot of encouraging, today he got me to go shopping with him and pick out some new ones.

I lost a diamond earring last Christmas. I figured it out 48 hours after it was eaten. My obnoxious little corgi took it for a popcorn kernel and I saw him do it, but forgot my earrings were on my nightstand. Told my hubby to save his poop on their walks and the first bag I checked had the earring! Super gross, both they were my mom's and I love them.

My dad has excellent taste in buying presents for my mom. One year I picked out a Coach bag for her. I showed him what it looked like, the cost, he said I haven't got a better idea so go with it. It is a very light purse, it's black and I love it. She hasn't taken it out of the bag. Honestly the purse she is carrying is ugly. She got this 2 birthdays ago (Birthday and Christmas are 5 days apart so we celebrate both but just split up the gifts). Two years before that he got her the most gorgeous Ralph Lauren purse in brown. If I say it is beautiful, just take my word for it ok? I tell her about it, she asks where it came from. I tell her it's YOUR'S. Dad bought it for Christmas. No she insists on carrying the ugliest, fake leather, ugly, dark brown, ugly purse thing that is ugly and won't use the RL one which is beautiful. Just use it. If you wreck it he can buy you a new one. Just go with it. Nope. New with tag. No one here buys scrappy gifts...they believe there are way too many scrapbooking supplies in the house and some should actually leave the house. Not going to happen but it is what is thought anyway. I would love to get something I just couldn't live without. There is nothing that I want that badly. If Quickutz made more alphabets I would want more of them. Failing that there is nothing I need or want. Life is good

I added a few things to my Amazon wishlist. You can add links from other sites - pretty cool. I added a cricut cart, a few punches and some dies.

I sent DH links to some dotto adhesive and 2 books and a DVD on amazon. I'm sure he bought all of them. I think he could get all my wish list items for under $50. Orf course I have some really big things on my list, but I'm not going to bother him with those; I'll just watch for sales and pick them up myself at some point.
