I impulsively bought a die at my LSS. I can't get it to cut all the way through with my Cuttlebug. I even broke out new plates and added a shim. I wonder if I am out of luck. I thought about messaging the owner on FB. I dont want to be out the money I paid.

I would contact the company that made the die. Most LSS don't do refunds so the best course of action would be to reach out to the manufacturer.

I would contact the company that made the die. I wondered about that. I will contact them. Thanks!

Yes, contact the company. I have a very intricate die that I should have done that with.

You can also try running it through with the cut side of the die up. I watched a video once where she did it cut side down and it didn’t cut all the way then did it cut side up and it cut fine.

I emailed the company last night and had a reply this morning. They wanted photos of the die and examples of the cut, so I sent that. And my name and address, so it looks promising!

I hope you get satisfaction. I would have gone to the LSS, I'm sure they would have remembered you, and would have helped you somehow, with or without the receipt. If not they don't deserve your business. To contact the company I personally would have called them on the phone.
