I'm going to have to move in the next few years and have 50+ years of photos!! I have over 80 large photo albums plus boxes and boxes of photos (I'm in my mid 50's and was widowed a few years back).
There is no way I'm packing and moving those photo albums so I need to cull through and scan the best ones (hoping to cut down at least by 50 to 60%).
Can you recommend businesses that scan photos and what type of things I should be aware of when choosing and ordering?
Can you tell me the good and bad about your experience? I'm quite nervous about this but know I will feel better once I am unburdened by the vast volume of photos/albums. I'll be downsizing by about half in house size when I do move so space will be important as well.
Thanks.

I had Kenmore camera do some photo work for me. I had my wife's photo copied, some slides put on a thumb drive, and 2 rolls of film put on another thumb drive. I am sure they provide other services. With the right computer and the right program and the right printer and enough time, you might be able to do it yourself. As for myself, I got people.
