I wish they would have gone with a younger candidate. Would be good, but not in the cards right now.. He has experience that will be needed moving forward.

I looked it up, and the sitting president is not automatically the nominee. I worry that Joe is handing over the election to the Republicans. He is, as many have said, just too damn old. He is not quick witted anymore and he makes a lot more errors when speaking, and those two things are going to hurt him in debates. And the Dems need a fresh face, someone who can, and will, really shake things up instead of giving us more of the same... leadership by old, white men. I'm fed up of the lack of representation of others. Man I miss Obama.
Yes, of course I'll vote for him if he's the candidate, but I won't be happy about it. BTW I think it took me about 15 minutes to type this. Turns out my motor processing skills are in the bottom 1% for my age, so there are probably errors, and it's hard to express myself. Sorry. I really am a diehard democrat!

First political ad by RNC v Biden "It’s pretty remarkable to me that they begin by acknowledging Biden was legitimately elected," tweeted Christopher Hale, a Biden delegate from Tennessee. What the hell did I just watch? Seriously? WHAT IF...

I will vote against Trump or Desantis. I find their actions show them to be corrupt and horrible humans.
If that means voting for Biden again, then so be it. At least he hasn't proven himself to be evil.

Some used the fact that a staffer “had” to tell President Biden where to go/stand at an outdoor function at The White House as proof “he’s not all there”.
Look at this event held today at The White House. Notice how the three are standing behind the President. Do you think those three chose to stand that way on their own or that they were told to stand in those spots?
My guess is they were told to stand in those spots as this is a staged event. And I’m guessing the majority of events at The White House are somewhat staged and not just during this President’s Administration but previous administrations as well.

Im probably the only one here that thinks this, but I don't think Trump will be the candidate and I also think it's possible Biden will not make it to the nomination. I don't think Trump will be nominated either. Mark Meadows was just subpoenaed to testify and he's been suspiciously quiet for a LONG time. I'm not sure about Biden. Right now, I think he'll be the nominee.

I worry about those that are never trump but won’t vote for a democrat so will vote third party. The way the electoral vote works, it will honestly not matter in strong red states. Purple, sure.

Not that I think this will happen. Not that I want this to happen. But what happens if Biden has to step aside or dies prior to election. Close to election. If Kamala Harris becomes President who is the Vice President? Does order of succession apply? Yeah, Biden is going to die I foresee in about 10 years... it's the media that is pushing this agenda that he's too old.. He's got a solid, excellent team in place to run the country for 4 more years. What if the media said, look at all of the great things he's done? Why is everything focused on the negative? That's what pisses me off.... focus on the positive. Has anyone on this thread focused on what Biden has done after the shit show administration of dump? It's been a mild message board with Biden vs dump. Think about it.. Biden will get it done for 4 more years, then get the new candiates up. What has Biden done that is so negative?
That is why I'm not concerned. His cabinet is not filled with friends and family that are only there for the perks.

Look at this picture and you can see little strips of what I guess is tape at the feet of two of the individuals and one stripe where I’m sure the Second Gentleman will stand when he finishes talking. It’s easy to put strips of tape on a solid floor but not so easy on a lawn.

Awesome, so you'd rather have trump as president. That makes sense. This is what I find so frustrating with the American people. Calm your tits, that's not what I said. But honestly, why would this man want to run again? It's ridiculous and pretty much GUARANTEES that we'll have Trump again. If Trump doesn't win in the primaries, I think he will run independently and the votes will be split between him and whoever does win . If that happenes Biden will win!

It’s easy to put strips of tape on a solid floor but not so easy on a lawn. In film and TV production, going seamlessly to your taped off spots is called "hitting your marks." Just a little inside baseball. Of course they establish these spots ahead of time, so the camera operators can frame their shots. and so it doesn't look like an episode of Keystone Cops when those who are to be on stage arrive.

So President Biden fell today after giving a speech.
Scott Walker called it sad and claimed he should retire because it’s always happening.
Seems to me the last time the President fell was when he was riding his bike and stopped to talk to some people while and he started to stand rather than sitting on the bike and in the process got his foot caught in the loop things on the pedal and he tripped.
This time it appears he tripped over something on the stage. He just finished his speech and turned away and started to walk away when he fell. He didn’t lose his balance he tripped over something. I read it might have been a sandbag.
Do you know how many people of all ages trip because they aren’t paying attention?
If you want an examples I invite you to watch America’s Funniest Videos.
Watching the falls on AFV what came to mind was what my father would tell us kids when we fell or walked into something “watch where you’re going”. Truer words were never spoken to people of all ages when it comes to falling. Watch where you’re going.

I cringed when I saw him fall. Who hasn't tripped??? Of course, they will say he is old and senile...

I'm older and falling is a fear of mine...
My mind is sharp. My feet are slow. Not always a good combination. I have taken the stand that there is no hurry in my actions.

I'm older and falling is a fear of mine... My mind is sharp. My feet are slow. Not always a good combination. I have taken the stand that there is no hurry in my actions. A close family friend of mine is retiring from teaching because she keeps falling. It started about 5 years ago and she broke her foot. After recovering she fell again and broke both legs. Since then it has been minor fall after minor fall. Last week she fell in the restroom and very nearly couldn't get up and was scared to death of being locked in the bathroom and no one finding her. She just turned 70 and is sharp as a whip, her body is just starting to fail her. It's incredibly sad. The failings of a body do not mean that someone is incompetent to lead. But of course that's how this will be spun.

I’m assuming Jackson has been on the House floor since he is an elected representative. And since this is his third year one would think that he would be aware of his surroundings and know that whatever he tripped over was there. Right? But yet he still managed to trip.
While it was President Biden’s first time on that stage.

I will still vote for him, too much is going on right now to risk a republican in office.

I can not believe that your country doesn't have any better candidates for President than two 80 yr old men. I would have to vote for Biden if I was American but really not much of a choice. Amen!

I hope I live to 80. And I hope I am healthy enough to take a hard fall and get right back up.
Whoever left the sandbag there should be fired. They imperiled the President of the United States, whatever age they would be. A younger person might have tripped, as well, maybe hit their head and died.
I think the sheer incompetence and embarrassment lies in the hands of the Secret Service. I think it was their job to not intentionally leave a trip hazard in the path the President would be taking. Someone had to have looked at that and made the decision to leave it there, as accidentally doing so equally exposes their failure to eliminate obvious hazards and dangers for the President.
