If any of you had the original cricut and cartridges but no longer use them what did you do with them? Tried to donate them to my cousins school but they weren’t interested and I’m not sure it’s something people would buy with all the new machines.

I gave mine to a kindergarten teacher a few years ago. Maybe a daycare or senior citizens center would want it.

I actually sold my "baby bug" with about 10 mats and 5 cartridges on Craig's List for 75 dollars a few months ago. I do think you could sell an older cricut plus carts, not everyone wants to need the internet to craft. The person I sold it to was not wanting to have to use a computer to craft and had no interest in designing.

I bundled all my unlinked cartridges and machine and mats etc and sold at a cheap price - not everyone can afford a new machine and not everyone wants to pay monthly subscriptions to design programs or have to turn on the laptop and sync it etc… I know as I’m one of them (I don’t even want to turn on a machine which is why I now use dies instead 😂)

(I don’t even want to turn on a machine which is why I now use dies instead 😂) Same with my mom. She is done (in her words) fighting with the Cricut. We are in the process of cleaning up all her cricut stuff to sell and then will put the proceeds towards a electric "manual" die cutter as the crank one is getting hard for her to use. Lol, I supposed she'd still have to turn on a machine. But it will be easier.

Thanks. The cartridges are linked. Those who don’t use the electric cutters, I also have the revolution and dies to get rid of if interested.

Does it still matter if they are linked or not? Can people still connect them to an online account if they are not linked?
I actually still have a working gypsy but I know that are rare at this point. I will eventually replace everything with a silhouette but right now I'm too busy for crafting with my machine more than a couple of times a year.
