donna was a long time Pea who was taken from us long before her time. Her last scrapbooking effort had been to complete her kids' albums before time ran out. Many Peas, coordinated by jenjie and myboysnme , helped with that project. A Pea we have not heard from in a long while, kiwigirl , set up this challenge to keep Donna's memory alive. So now we honour Donna's memory by getting our own photos onto scrapbook pages while WE have time to do that. Each month we set a challenge to get those photos glued onto pages. And we also have a theme This challenge is open to anyone, but if you are a member of a challenge team looking for points: ONE point for EACH photo you scrap in May, 2023. TEN points for meeting the MAY Donna theme on your project MAY 2023 DONNA Theme: The soundtrack of my life. Interpret this any way you like. Document your current playlist. Or your all time fav's. Use some old fashioned DC comics blasts of sound as your title for anything--BANG!, WHOOSH, KABOOM! zzzz... Use a song title as your title or in your journaling. Scrap a musical concert in person or on TV.
Have fun with this. And don't forget to share your creation in this thread. I hope to get a sample up in the next few days...
Linda and scrappyrabbit, can you please remind your teams about this challenge, and encourage team members to take on this--or any past Donna challenge--and share in the Donna challenge thread(s)?

Finally. I have a LO for this. Page design and papers & other supplies are from Spring 2023 Crop & Create, Meghan Andrew's class. Amazing Vintage by Gramma Dee, on Flickr From as early as I can remember, guitar strumming and simple country ballads were part of the background. My brother in this photo is 86 years old and still drives around to "jam's" where he and his wife play and sing. He called to say they would be in our local town, so I took my dgs to listen and chat for a bit.

I love this prompt! And I have the perfect story from my own childhood to go along with it. I love the story about your brother still playing jams, that's awesome. There's love in the gallery!

I was searching for a different thread, and this popped up What a great idea to honor donna , grammadee ! I met Donna ( and several other awesome peas ) years ago at a scrapbooking event in Los Angeles. We laughed soooo much, she was so fun! I wish I had pics of the mini-scrapbook I made for her documenting the event. You've inspired me to create some "soundtrack of my life" layouts.

How wonderful to hear memories of donna, scrappintoee! Please take this challenge and run with it! Would love to see what you come up with. Also, would love to have you take on some of our other Donna Challenges. They are linked to the Master Challenge List with other challenges by the quarter and by the month. And I am always open to ideas that not only help us scrap our photos, but also remember Donna, so feel free to suggest any that occur to you since you knew her. In fact, I think you have already inspired me for next month--stay tuned for the December Donna Challenge...

grammadee...I just found your Donna challenge for November, and I LOVE your layout! Fall is also my absolute favorite! I have older layouts about Fall, but haven't scrapbooked in a while.
