I’m glad she was tried and convicted. I really hope she will have to do actual jail time for this. She could have caused some major problems for this innocent couple. What goes on in the mind of someone who could accuse people of something so terrible? I remember seeing this when it first came out. All I remember thinking was that she didn’t seem like she was truly frightened for her children. I don’t recall what her full story was. Did she say she walked away from her children in the stroller leaving them vulnerable or that the couple tried to grab the stroller right out of her hands? Yeah, she needs to sit in a cell and give some serious thought to how her actions affect others.

She was remanded into custody after the verdict, and her bail to get out before sentencing was set at $100,000. I don’t know if she made bail, but I hope she spent at least a night in jail before posting bail.

I am always suspicious of Facebook posts that have someone claiming they were sure they were being stalked at a store. Then that post gets shared far and wide. It is hard to fact check it, and if it can be - it usually shows that the person was attention seeking.

I don't know anything about her or her story but did see that on GMA this morning. What in the world possesses people to lie about such things? Attention, I suppose, but why would you want that kind of attention?

I also remember her story when it first came out. I wish she'd gotten a longer sentence than just 6 months-a year would have been better.
Think about how horrible she made that innocent couple's lives during the time it took to clear their names. All so she could get more clicks and attention to her Mommy site. Absolutely deplorable!

I wouldn't be surprised if the couple filed a civil case. Or if they won, either. Somebody that boneheaded deserves to be made an example.

I believe she did make bail and I believe a news article said she no longer lives in our area. What a stupid woman and such a fine example for her children.

Honestly she could have gotten them killed.

Honestly she could have gotten them killed. And, honestly, if that happened before the couple were able to repudiate her story with video proof, she wouldn’t have lost 5 minutes of sleep. (not implying that you were supporting her in any way) She is a poster child for the evil side of social media and looking to make a buck by more clicks and popularity. (Just as yellow journalism was the evil side of print media)

She could get a lot of clicks doing a "mommies in jail" series.
