Back in the late 70's, Deidre Hall was dating a Louisiana politician so she threw an event to raise money for his campaign. For $10 you could get a picture taken with Josh Taylor aka Chris Kositchek. So I waited in line and finally got on the stage. Right then the photographer had to change film so Josh asked if I minded sitting with him for a few minutes and chatting. He was so nice and I look like a deer caught in headlights!  |

so cool! I used to be a huge Days fan, but I stopped watching probably 10 or so years ago. I just couldn't keep up with a daily show. Now I have no idea who half the characters are
Didn't he end up playing Roman after Wayne Northrup left?

Back in the early 90s (91 or 92) I met Matthew Ashford, Jack, from days of our lives at the mall. That was the one and only time I’ve stood in a line to meet someone. Lol

I remember him! I watched Days all through middle and high school and into my 20’s. I couldn’t keep up once I started working full time and having kids.

I started watching in college when it was half an hour. No one would schedule a class between 12:00 and 12:30! |

When I was pregnant with DS, that's when I started up again. With the invention of VCR's it made it really easy to watch without the commercials! |

That's so cool!
Back in the early 2000s, Disney California Adventure would host Super Soap Weekend with all the ABC soap stars. A group of friends and I would go and have a blast. We met so many cool fans while standing in line waiting for pictures and autographs. It was so much fun scrapping all those pictures.

Believe it or not, Marlena and one of her love interests on the show who had real curly dark hair (can't remember his name) came to the gym in Renton, Washington in the 70's to promote the show. I got to stand next to Dedra Hall...she was lovely and very petite. About the same time, Debbie Reynolds came to Carl's shoe store in the same town...She was married to the man who owned them all...I think he left her bankrupt. Also, the Lennon Sisters from Lawrence Welk Show made an appearance at the same shoe store. Not sure why a place like Renton would be a town they would choose.
