Who is joining? How much are you planning on participating? How many days? What are your goals? Will you try to use all the sketches or just a few? Will you try any challenges? Will you post any layouts in the FB group?
Feel free to post here about your goals and keep us posted on your progress. And let us know if you win any prizes!
I'm off to clean up my desk so I can have a blank slate tomorrow morning. Then I'm going to look through some supplies and refresh my memory on what I have in my stash. Besides that I'm as prepped as I'm going to be. I have all four days to scrap and relax. I'll be doing a combination of working on a mini album and I'll also try some of the sketches.
Honestly, I'm excited to have four days to myself.

Saturday and Sunday are a bit busy for me but otherwise I've blocked off the time for scrapping. I'm looking forward to it.

my first layout of the weekend - totally scraplifted - and super frustrating. Ended up tearing all the hexagons off the background and trying again with a new sheet cardstock...they're still not lined up right but good enough. and a couple of cards using cut files from CraftWithSarah

Yours turned out great, though. I’m almost done with my first layout of the weekend. I’m deciding if I want to be quick and use Thickers or if I want to spend a little more time on it and use my silhouette to cut a title.

I will just be working on my 2023 pocket page scrapbook albums for dd and ds.
I did buy 2 new stamp and die sets (bears) to work on my alcohol marker character designs so I will play with those too.
Not sure how much I will get to play this weekend.
Taking a trip on the train and connecting to Metrolink to go about 30 min away from us. Slowly working on expanding how far away we travel by Metrolink with ds to possibly use it to get to DTLA and when open OC Beaches like San Clemente pier. That line got damaged from slides due to the rain. I like that the trains are accessible for ds and ds as ways to get around.
And Sunday is grocery shopping and baseball.

Thank you Elsabelle - looking forward to seeing your layout! pantsonfire - that's awesome that you have public transport near you - I wish we did and I'm glad that DD22 has moved someplace with buses and easy Amtrak connections since she probably won't ever drive. This one is for a SG challenge - and is scraplifted from Shimelle for the card challenge

What do you all think of today’s sketches? I’m going to try the one with the hearts first I think. Debbie also has a free sketch on their website for iNSD. It looks like it would be a quick but useful one.

the hearts one is the first one I plan to try also now that I've finished the card challenges for today. Thanks for the reminder about the sketch on the website - let me grab that one also. This card is for the bonus card challenge (stamping) and this is the other card sketch challenge I found the triangles challenging on that one

Wow Linda! You're getting a lot done today! I'm just finishing up my first layout. I've had some distractions today but I tend to scrap pretty slowly anyway.

Thanks Elsabelle - I've really had no distractions today as DD16 was at school and practise and DH was at work. They're about to come home and then I'll do the grocery shopping and dinner so this is the last one until maybe late this evening.

I started one LO yesterday afternoon - Allison's double page sketch with the circle photos. I got the basic LO done, but need to embellish, journal and add a title. I also sat down with my photos last night - I am trying to focus on our Mexico trip from a few years back, so I get a flow happening with the album - and tried to match photos to sketches. Linda - I love all your pages and cards so far. The last two LOs you showed are the next two on my list for later today. I'm going out shortly fr a few hours, but will scrap when I get back.

I'm participating as I can, it's worth it for their sketches, I love them! If I get to any actual challenges it won't likely be until tomorrow; work and assorted other things for DS's upcoming graduation have priority. One of these years I'll get back to blocking out a long weekend for just NSD!

@shells004 - I agree - the sketches alone are worth the price. I'm fortunate to be able to block off some time yesterday and today...my weekend looks busier. And the second card challenge -opaque stickers or die cuts would have been better than the clear stickers ... live and learn I made a shaker easel card for today's bonus card challenge - it was a challenge all right and I don't think it's quite right but not bad for a first try.

I love today’s sketches. I’m still working on the mini album but I’ll probably switch over to 12x12 layouts later today and try one of the sketches.

I went out to a local market this morning and planned to scrap once I got home, which was about when today’s sketches were released. Unfortunately, I came home totally exhausted, so I’ve printed the sketches and will get onto the tomorrow morning.

Do they have any free sketches for NSD? yes- there's one available at Scrapbookgeneration.com that was released for iNSD (and there are, of course, other older free sketches there as well)

I only did the right side of this sketch - I subbed in the handprints for the stars and shrunk it down to 8.5x11...I'm not sure how much I like the end result but it's done and I'm moving forward left side of a different sketch along with the use holuiday paper for not the holiday - the background is Halloween paper one of yesterday's sketches, I think

I think this was a day two sketch - I left off the stars and used taller photos

I think this was the last sketch I needed to do from days 1 and 2 - not finding much scrappy time so far today
