Thanks I haven't tried it but figured it would be worth a try, especially at that price!

I wanted so much to love the card stock in the boxes, but I really hated the way it scored and creased.

Darn. On amazon.ca it is still $31.99. That's still not bad compared to what it was priced at. In US$ it comes to $23 per ream.

I bought a package, luckily I'll be in Florida next month and had it shipped there. As justjac said, it's $31.99 for us Canadians. Not bad, but at $12.68 USD it works out to about $!8 CDN, so almost half the price.

I've used this CS since being introduced to it at last fall's C+CD I thought Crop and Create's brand was Cougar.

The way I read the information from SCT about the spring C&C, it was an "exclusive" Canadian brand. I had been on the verge of placing an order for Neenah, but held off until I started working with the C&C paper. I finally ordered the Neenah when I didn't like the box paper. It was right around that time I heard about the Canadian source; I'm not even sure which happened first.

Thanks I haven't tried it but figured it would be worth a try, especially at that price! My goodness girl. If I had known that I would have sent you a few sheets! No worries! I have seen lots of chatter about it but wasn’t really in need of a new paper. But sooner or later I’m going to pay $25-40 for another ream of Neenah so… at that price even if I don’t love it as much as everyone else I can make good use of it. I know that lb weight can be deceiving but it appears to be a compromise between the 2 weights of Neenah I get 🤷🏻♀️ It would be excellent if it turns out to be a good substitute for both. But no matter what it will get used.

I've used this CS since being introduced to it at last fall's C+CD I thought Crop and Create's brand was Cougar. If so, then HM and Cougar are buying the exact same paper from the same mill and packaging it themselves. The HM I purchased from the link I provided is the exact same paper that was used both in the fall 22 and spring 23 C+CD. I bought a team of it last fall and again in March (and two more today at that fab price).

But no matter what it will get used. I have a photo of a ream of 100lb HM and a ream of (the good) 110lb Neenah next to each other. I posted It to some random thread here last fall. A ream of the HM is actually a bit thicker than the Neenah and weighs 9 pounds! ETA: found it in my post images:

Nobody else has had issues with messy creases with it? SU trimmer has a scoring blade or my MS scoring board. The heavier the cardstock its harder to get a nice fold without scoring the paper first . I use a stylus with my MS scoring board for a sharper/thinner line.

Darn. On amazon.ca it is still $31.99. So unfair! It is almost worth me ordering to the Border storage place and driving down to pick it up (even with their $5 holding fee). How long were you down? 10 minutes What did you do down in the States? Picked up a package What is it? Reams of cardstock

How long were you down? 10 minutes What did you do down in the States? Picked up a package What is it? Reams of cardstock they'll probably laugh - the way they did when they asked us why we were going to Canada and we said 'for lunch' and they looked at our Florida tags and asked if we had driven all the way from Florida just for lunch (we were actually visiting my sister in Vermont less than 30 minutes from the border and were indeed popping over for lunch)

Nobody else has had issues with messy creases with it? I always score my card bases and I score pretty deep/hard but not ripping the paper. The deeper the score the cleaner my fold will be. I have a Martha Stewart score board but I really have my eye on the Altenew scoreboard. I like that it has a stylus rather than a bone folder type tool. During C&C I was in a hurry and just folded a card base an pressed down with my bone folder and it totally cracked the fold. It was so bad I couldn't use it as a card base. This card stock definitely needs to be scored first.
