Hi, was wondering if you tried out Bearly Arts Glue. If you did, were you impressed & satisfied with your results? I might consider buying a 2 or 4 oz. bottle. Does anyone know how long glue in a bottle lasts before it may not be effective anymore?
I noticed on their site they offer LOTS of free SVG's. However, there are a few SVG's where there's a nominal fee. I haven't downloaded any from their site.."yet".
Thanks in advance for your replies.

I use it. It has a longer dry time which gives wiggle room if you need it. I love the super thin nozzle and it isn’t degraded by heat or cold, so you can buy it any time of year.
If I need quicker dry time and adhesive tape won’t work, I use Aleene’s turbo tacky glue or Ranger multi medium matte.

If I need quicker dry time and adhesive tape won’t work, I use Aleene’s turbo tacky glue or Ranger multi medium matte. i was a fan of the Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive for many many years because of it's quick drying properties. i would go through tons of it and always bought the 6 oz bigger bottle. when the bigger bottles became harder to find and much more expensive, i tried the Aleenes Quick Dry Tacky Glue. i was surprised at how similar it was to the Scotch glue in the fast-grab sense. it is now my go-to glue and for so much cheaper than Scotch. i also struggled with clogged nozzles on glue bottles. the best solution was to buy the clear plastic squeeze bottles from Hobby Lobby. i think they hold 2oz and they have the black fine tip on them. i think it was less than $5.00 for three bottles. i have not had a clogging issue since then. the trick is to squeeze out the excess glue from the fine tip when you are finished using it. give the bottle a squeeze (while it's sitting up) until you only hear air coming out. that little step of clearing out the extra glue in the tip area prevents that glue from drying and clogging the tip. i also use this squeeze bottle for my Fabri-Tac clear fabric. the size of the bottles also make them so much easier to hold and work with than the larger bottles but the fine tip is the deal-maker.

This is a great tip and one that I always forget to do! I love the Bearly Arts glue. The tip is perfect. I did have an issue a few months ago with it, though. I've had a refill bottle for about year, unopened, and I opened it and poured some of it into a smaller bottle. When I went to use the small bottle a few days later I noticed that the glue had a sour smell. It smelled so bad that I threw the refill and the small bottle out. I didn't know glue could go bad, but apparently it can! I also have a larger refill - the one that's in a bear-shaped bottle - and I haven't used it yet. I'm afraid to open it and pour it into a smaller bottle in case that's what soured the glue last time. So, my tip would be to only buy the refills close to the time you need it, don't buy it in advance "just in case".

I like it. Mine separated a bit but after shaking it up (not up and down more of a swirling motion) it came back together and it's been working great since it separated. It does take a bit of time to dry so be aware.

I love the Bearly glue. I had a problem of it separating (after more than a year) and I contacted them and they said give it a shake, side to side. Now it's habit for me to give it a quick shake before using. I use the tiny fine tip and it has never clogged. (knock on wood!)
I downloaded a few of their SVG's.

I used it at Expo last year and wanted to buy, but they were out, and for some reason it was not available online. A few moths later I tried again and was able to order a small and a large bottle. It works fine for me.

I was on the fence about trying it but got a bottle for Christmas and I love it! I have difficulty sometimes lining up intricate die cuts so I appreciate the fine tip and that it dries truly clear so my mistakes where glue squished out aren't visible.

Guess I’m the odd one out. I bought a bottle and thought it was too watery so I went back to the Art Glitter Glue. I’m going to try shaking the bottle, maybe that’s the problem.

I've never heard of it going bad, either, but boy did it stink - like very sour milk. I did some searching on the internet and only found one or two references to glue smelling bad. I think I posted about it on here at the time, too. When I opened the refill bottle it didn't stink, so I wonder if it was a reaction to the small bottle I put it in - maybe there was something off about the plastic - it was a small empty bottle I bought off of AliExpress. I don't even know if that's a possibility, but it did occur to me. The other thing I thought was maybe the glue was previously frozen (I don't recall if I ordered it in the winter or not) and then melted, if that had something to do with it. I'll still use Bearly Arts because I truly love it, but I won't buy refill bottles anymore, I'll stick with the fine tip bottle.

I use the really fine tip on my Bearly arts glue and I sometimes go long stretches between using it. I have had to remove some thickened glue from inside the cap if it’s been a long time, but it has never clogged so that couldn’t get it going pretty quickly.

I’ve been using it for a couple of years (I think, might be longer, I can never tell these days). A friend gave me a giant bottle and a smaller bottle she won in a giveaway. It’s thinner than the Nuvo glue I had been using but I got used to that. The fine tip is great and unlike the tiny little bottles with fine tips that some people use I find it easy to squeeze. I find it to dry very quickly and hold very well. I would buy more when this huge supply I have runs out.

I bought a bottle due to all the recommendations for it. However, each time I use it I have to use the fine needle tool they also alluded to unclog the tip. That is kind of annoying but once I do that a couple times it works.

Is that what everyone else does?

I keep the pin in mine all the time too and never have any clogging issues. I love that glue.

However, there are a few SVG's where there's a nominal fee. I haven't downloaded any from their site.."yet". Thanks in advance for your replies. Thanks for the tip about the free SVG files. I have never had a wet glue get more watery or stink, although I have had glue go hard in the bottle (Zip Dry). I have tried a LOT of different glues since I started card making 38 years ago, but Bearly Arts isn’t one of them, mostly because the cost seemed high for the amount you get. However, since it seems to come with the ultra fine tip on Amazon, it may be worth it. The Bearly Arts fine tip has a pin that you stick in it to keep it from clogging. My recent/current preferred glue is Lineco’s Neutral pH Adhesive. I bought it because Karen Burniston (pop up dimensional card designer) said it was the only glue she had found that didn’t eventually come unglued eventually when a hand made card is kept in a humid environment like Houston and other cities near the ocean. Her cards definitely need a glue that doesn’t come undone over time. I also bought her fine tip bottles, which I love. The cost is about $5 for one empty fine tip bottle, but it applies a very fine line of glue, so fine that it dries very quickly, and without warping the card stock. I love the Lineco glue and the fine tip bottles that I bought from KB. The cap for the fine tip bottles has a pin inside that keeps the bottles from clogging. I poured about 1 to 2 ounces of the glue into the small fine tip bottle. It has such a fine tip, that it applies a very sparse amount of glue, so the glue lasts a long time before it will be used up. The fine tip cap has a pin built into it that keeps it from clogging between uses. The glue itself can be purchased on Amazon for a better price than from KB, but I haven’t found any fine tip bottles as good as the ones I bought from her. Until I started using the Lineco glue, I preferred to use dry adhesives rather than wet adhesives. I’m going to be doing a card making activity with some gals at church. I was concerned that they would go overboard with whatever adhesives I provide. I bought 4 extra of the fine tip bottles, which I will fill with the Lineco glue. Because it applies such a small amount but holds well, they should be able to glue even small pieces without glue getting everywhere or ruining the cards from applying too much (or needlessly using up all of my glue).
