Good morning! I tried to stay up late last night and sleep in late this morning because I have concert tickets for tonight and didn't want to be a corpse. Mom and I are celebrating Mother's Day early with tickets to see KC and the Sunshine Band. So not only will I get my mile in today but there's bound to be some dancing too.
Have a good day!

My last two days have been spent mall walking as I'm getting ready for my niece's graduation (gifts and clothing to wear). This morning I have been sidelined from walking for a few days. Woke up to discover my achilles tendonitis has flared. Since I have to travel on Thursday, I'm going to be resting it. Doing the pain reliever and ice routine, as well as staying off my foot as much as possible. Hopefully I'll be able to rejoin the daily walks by the end of the week!

That's the way uh huh uh huh I like it, uh huh uh huh. Hope you have fun! We walked early this morning. We took the dog to the park. It was nice and quiet and still a litle bit dark. We saw a pretty sunrise.

Got in a quick .8 miles before the rain started. The sky was looking ominous and I felt a few drops, but made it in time.
I noticed that everyone on my path has mowed their lawn at least once. I love the smell of freshly cut grass and it was everywhere. Luckily, my allergy shots are doing their job. Fresh cut grass used to throw me into a sneezing fit, but I'm good.

Waited til after the rain here and my dog refused to walk. I just took in the neighborhood sites. The park is lined with the giant hydrangea shrubs Enjoy the concert jeremysgirl. Have fun.

Rainy day today. Dgs and I walked down to the garden and seeded a couple of rows of onions. Otherwise stayed inside. Resting and watching TV.

Took a couple days off from walking. My daughter and I both took off for a day of play Friday and got out and about, it was a lot of fun! Had rainstorms and lightning last night so soggy walking today. Managed to get out and ended up with two muddy dogs, so they got baths following. Enjoyed the time out and about even if it was a bit chilly today. Enjoy the concert and thanks for the flower pictures! I didn’t take my phone as I had two labs to hang onto today

I did the mile a day over the last few days but forgot to post. Thinking about people and relationships, particularly how I have difficulty sharing things that I really want to, but am afraid hesitant to put into words. And I resolved to try to share just a little more. Both with friends and family.

I hope you have a great time at the concert. I love that band!
Another gloomy day with rain. But it may stop raining on Wed. So we will be at 11/13 days of rain. But the dog motivates me to walk in the rain so we got a few miles worth of walks! I notice how green the grass is and everyone's grass is getting so tall as it's hard to cut the grass with only a couple of dry days. Even though it's been so cold, the grass is still growing and so are the tulips. I love the spring flowers!
I will say having a dog has really helped my sleep. I haven't taken sleep aids (tylenol pm or benadryl) but a small number of times in the past 6 weeks! I usually would take 1-2 every night.
