Need ideas for possible centerpieces for baby shower. Will be outdoors, linens on tables, but very informal/outdoorsy. I was trying to think of something that maybe would be decorative, but maybe useful for the mom/baby rather than just decorative. Any ideas?

If it is girl baby I saw one where people made little tiny stand up hangers with pretty baby dresses for centerpieces. Then baby can wear. Even had little shoes or slippers with them.
If not I would just do succulents and have them as gift for people who attend. Maybe something with baby books can be done?

I love the little outfit idea, and I've also seen potted plants or flowers to use as a prize and thought it was super smart.

I had some vases I wanted to donate, so I bought mixed flower bouquets from Trader Joe’s to place in them. They were centerpieces and game prizes.

Mu daughter had a woodland forest theme for her twin boys so we decorated the tables with stuffed animals, deer banks, books and other themed toys.

A bunch of colorful board books would make super cute table decorations and then mom to be could have them to read with baby. So many fun picture books have been printed as board books now that you’d have a lot of popular titles to choose from.

Not something that can be reused for the mom, but years ago I did ones that included rubber ducks in those short round flower vase/bowl things. I used blue and white aquarium stones in the bottom. I was able to get the vase bowls cheap (and used up a bunch that I had).

I used potted petunias I picked up cheap for a graduation party. That would work well for a shower, too. You buy a roll of tulle really cheap and wrap the pots.

I was also able to get different size ducks. A bigger one and some smaller ones. It was quite awhile ago but I remember they were cute and cheap . I also did something with them for a few prizes, like at the fair. Maybe a number on the on the bottom and then drew numbers? Or a star on some? Again I can’t remember exactly what the setup was. But they really were cute, cheap and are easily enough to manipulate to use for what you want and/or also what you might have laying around.

I used books, then gifted the books to the mom-to-be!

I second the book idea. My mom did it for my my cousin, it turned out really cute.

Cake made from diaper We had a work shower and made this for one of our friends. It was packaged in a large cake box, and when we got on the elevator, one of our colleagues took a deep breath and said, "Smells so good!" LOL, the power of suggestion.

I would probably get Mylar helium balloons at the dollar store in colors that match the theme of the party and use the books standing up propped open as a weight.

We had a book shower for my sister and asked everyone to bring a board book for the baby. For each guest, we packaged up sugar cookies from the bakery. I think we had cows and moons.
