I'm having a heck of a time finding jeans for DS13, he's about 5'10" but apparently all legs because he's complaining that the 32" jeans I just bought him (thankfully from Plato's Closet) are getting too short. He needs a 29"x34", who wears that size? Apparently no one, because I can't find them anywhere. I'm sure I can order them online, but before I go ordering from all over the world, any suggestions on where to go? I don't want to spend a ton because as soon as it's above 40 he'll probably return to his usual uniform of basketball shorts Plus at the rate he's growing they'll apparently only last a month anyhow.

Try H & M ?
My brother was a 28 x 34 for years, and yes, it was always challenging to get him good jeans that fit. My sons are in the more findable 27 or 28 x 32 -- still a challenge, but if you shop carefully they can be found at Penny's, Macy, Gap and Old Navy.

Do you have a western store? You can usually get Wranglers to fit tall and thin boys/men.

When my kid wore a 29W we bought Jeans as Hollister. he only takes a 32" length though because he wears his jeans on his hips and my kid is over 6ft tall. But they do make a 34L. Most of hollisters jeans are Skinny jeans. Sometimes their jeans can run small. So you might have him go try some on if you have a Hollister near you. Their jeans are all on sale right now for $29 a pair.
You might also look at Kohls, Penneys and Macy's for Levis. The 511's are what my boys prefer. they are slim cut. Kohls had their Levi's buy one get one 50% off and then with a 30% off coupon and free shipping, Makes them about 32.00 each with tax. Which is a good price for Levis!

Ds is a skinny 34 and likes ordering online from Macy's. It's too frustrating shopping in the stores because they never have a good selection of the taller stuff.
If you have a Levi's store near you (regular or outlet mall) we have had better luck there with inventory.

We've been buying my DS jeans from the Buckle. I love how they even have skinny guys working there who understand what my DS is dealing with.

we've had luck with Levi's from Kohls....with sales/coupons they aren't too bad. And if they are out of his size in the store, you can usually find them online. Shipping has been slow in the past but after Black Friday, we had good luck and our package came quicker than expected based on their prior shipping record.

I recently picked up some jeans for my super skinny 14 year old son. He's 5'11" to 6'0" with a 27-28" waist. He has super long legs like me, so the best I could do was get him a 36" length with a 32" waist (smallest size they had for that inseam) from Old Navy. He has to wear the pants with a belt and they are not flattering on him. But it's that or "floods". Poor kid...we're trying to get him to gain some weight!

LEVI's! try Kohl's or Kohl's online. Macy's or Macy's online.

I have bought size 29x34 for my DS at American Eagle. I'm not sure they carry that size in the store, but they do have it online.

I go up a size in levis and get the slim slims. Not just a slim fit, but a slim in slim fit. This seems to work good for my string bean. Problem is, all my local stores do not carry slim slim, they only carry the 'husky' fit. I now order from Amazon.

We struggle. My 14yo is nearly 6'4" and wears a 30x36, which they don't make. We have found with difficulty 32x36. Land's End, Old Navy (bad quality), Gap sometimes (great).
The best place is ebay. I just type in the size and get it. Once they had a 30x36!!! Don't even get me started on dress pants.
Belts are your friend. Not your son's if he's anything like mine, but sometimes they don't have a choice.

That is my son. A 34 length and the smallest sized waist possible. We've got jeans from Old Navy and Kohls (union bay). I told him to accept he has to wear a belt.

American Eagle is where I buy my son's 34 length. He is also very skinny. Often we buy 30 waist (they're big, but he doesn't really care)
