azcrafty Do you think Bristol is similar to Tim Holtz White Heavystock? I love this paper for Copic Marker coloring. I'm not sure i don't have the TH one. If you pm your address im very happy to send you some. I already put some in the mail for Shakti and MDscrapaholic . Could I talk you out of some of the Bristol as well? I am VERY HAPPY to pay, pay for shipping, or trade! ❤️ |

Shakti , your memory is correct inasmuch that the stamp market was in C&CD once and didn’t come back. I was in the class live when ‘the incident’ happened but I can’t say why they didn’t come back to that event. Amy is a good instructor but she moves quick! It may have been that the sheer size of that event was too much for a smaller company to participate in. I’m not sure. PinkFresh also participated in C&CD and didn’t come back once they started their own events. I have yet to get a shipping notice from PinkFresh and my perception is that this event doesn’t seem as well organized as C&CD but this is my first PF event so I have to give the whole event a chance. Some of the PF correspondence isn’t very helpful (like how much colored cardstock, etc) and they don’t seem as patient as the mods at C& CD. I am always amazed that it seems like so many people don’t read the emails, it must be frustrating for the hosts. Of all the events I have done, the Concord & 9th and C &CD have been my favorites in terms of product/teachers/organization. 😃 Regarding the PF shipping notice, I am in the PNW and got my shipping notice last week, HOWEVER it is going “freight” by truck, and if it arrives on time (later this week) it’ll be 8 or 9 days to get to me. They are shipping to those closest to their warehouse last. So perhaps you are near(ish) to them. I think they’re in TX. |

I also have not received a shipping notice. They are not giving us much time to get ready for this event. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt, though. Been through enough C&CD events to know that I don't have to do everything live. One thing I don't know - are the classes available to replay quickly, or do we have to wait several days? I seem to remember something from the spring event that you had to wait to access the recordings. Or was that the Altenew event? I can't remember. Can you pause while watching the live? If memory serves me correctly, the videos were available right away. And yes, the pause button is my best friend during events like these! |

I see people speculating on FB that we probably only need "a sheet" or "no more than 3 sheets" of the required/requested colors. Why not just tell us?! Yes, some of us cut more conservatively than others, so be generous with your estimates, but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, how hard is it to say "about a half sheet" or "a quarter sheet" of "half a sheet for a card base" for each flipping project? Or, better yet, organizers, YOU look at all your demonstrators/teachers project requirements and aggregate them and give out that consolidated information?! Oh, wait...I am beginning to think that this is Catherine's Superpower.... |

They could have also sold a class bundle of cardstock. It's fine not to include inks but I think if you're going to specify cardstock colours you should probably include them. I've done every PF event so far and the owner does seem a bit more impatient than Catherine at SCT. It definitely feels like she (Kinnari) doesn't love doing the events or at least gets tired of all of the questions, etc - which I understand but it comes with the territory. I myself could not deal with all of these people who don't read their emails, etc, but luckily I work alone  However I do love the PF events overall and find them to be a good value. They're also quite generous with product, I think. I just make sure I read my emails and do my homework. |

I have done every PF event and have always found them organized. I was one of those customers who requested colored cardstock to be used in the class. I emailed them about it after their last 2 events. I am so glad they are doing that. I absolutely plan to use cardstock colors I have in my stash and not planning to buy TSM cardstock.
Below is what owner posted in the FB group. Some people were complaining about out of stock ink colors and cardstock colors. The owner did a good job of explaining the situation and encouraged crafters to use what they have. I do not like buying every single thing they use in the class but I get it that sometimes FOMO kicks in. Her post is a good reminder to use what we have on hand and use it.
My only wish is that I hope PF needs to cap their events and stop it where they are now in terms of nos. of students. I don't want them to be like another SCT event with more students because that's when it gets chaotic.

I’ll admit to being annoyed by the photo of the full card. I logged Into my FB feed (not the PF group) and it was the first post in my feed :/ I clicked out of it quickly as I want to be surprised when the kit arrives! I was not at all expecting to see it.
I’m also sorry that shipping is a concern for so many. I feel badly for those in Australia and NZ. Their kits arrived a week after the event in February and for their sake I sure hope it doesn’t happen again.

I guess my expectation is that I should be able to open the box and be ready to go and not have to provide so much on my own. |

I finally received a shipping notice today. Also, looks like Pinkfresh just posted the entire pdf of the event on Facebook.
I had to look. I won't post any spoilers but I'm really excited about The Stamp Market class.

I just peeked and super excited about the class with Lea. The stamp set is a bit different to me.
I love The stamp market too but very nervous about so much die cutting. She did a lot of die cutting in her class with crop and create and that was pretty at the end but a lot of headache to put together.

My kit comes on Thursday. I’m so excited. They ship via UPS which always takes at least a week to get to the west coast so not my favorite way to ship. .
I looked at the PDFs and booklet and swoon. I love it all. I love these events because the cards are more complicated and technique heavy. Each card is a work of art. They really are beautiful. I’m so happy I signed up. I have all of the stamp market card stock as I love her sense of color and style. I adore the cards in her class. I wish she was more than 1 person so she could create more inspiration on her website. I would definitely buy more if she could clone herself. She has such a great eye for design and color. I really like her aesthetic. I just placed an order today using the coupon for some items from last months release that I was able to get at 15% off

azcrafty, the pdf instructions seems to be too big to email. I tried to send it to myself so I could cheat and print it at work, but even zipped it won't go. So that's probably why they didn't email it and why I am not offering to email it to you, though I had intended to so

That printing version of the pdf is too big to upload at kinkos or staples. I had to break it into 4 files before it was small enough to upload. It’s going to cost $32 to print in color double sided. I’m not sure it’s worth the cost.
