you see how the design team uses it? Or when you see layouts using it on ig or yt? I totally did not want Crate Paper Gingham Garden but there it is on my desk now. I also did not want Simple Stories Simple Vintage Berry Fields or Here + There but now I'm starting to change my mind after seeing some beautiful layouts.

Yes! I had never been even remotely interested in the more vintage collections. I always thought G45 and Authentique and the like were just not for me. Then Simple Stories (with Katie Pertiet) came along and changed my mind with their Lemon Twist collection. This collection is gorgeous!
Since then I’ve gotten a couple other Katie collections (with 49 & Market) and am really looking forward to the new Spectrum one.
I follow Katie on IG and I enjoy watching how she uses her products.

I understand. I was never interested in the vintage look until I saw Jana Eubank make this layout. I could never quite picture vintage layouts with photos that don't have a vintage feel but she changed my mind.

I fell for Paige Evans brightly colored papers because of all the cute projects posted on her Instagram page.

A couple of times a flip through video by the designer convinced me to buy a collection.

Absolutely! It also works both ways. Sometimes I see a kit that I am on the fence about buying. If the designer doesn't have a design team, or any sample layouts, chances are I will NOT buy the kit. But if they show some sample layouts that appeal to me, chances are, I WILL buy it.
I don't understand why some designers do not share sample layouts showing their product.

Sometimes. But it is more likely that seeing a layout I like with a line will inspire me to go & look at the papers in real life, and then decide.

I choose not to participate in social media but sometimes view a collection differently after its release than when it was introduced due to taking a closer look, sample layouts, or considering it in context of other releases/options available.

Yes this morning! Zero interest in CP's Gingham Garden until I saw MercyTiara use it in this YouTube video www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNNrIlUYh5U Not sure if I'll grab any but definitely had zero interest until I saw her use it. I need to get some glue so I can see some slipping in my cart.

Yes, I'm so persuadable lol. There's been too many times when a scrapbook line or stamp set didn't appeal to me until I started seeing the projects. It's a problem...

I have often become interested in a collection or die set or whatever after I have seen it in action.

I have just recently discovered 49 & Market after a visit to an actual scrapbooking store near Phoenix. I am in love with the products, and I think Katie Pertiet is an artistic genius. I have some of her stamps from back in the day. Yes, it is very helpful to see how someone uses the products. There are some very creative souls out there who can sell me on something I may have overlooked before.

Happens to me all the time! Lots of times I see it used in ways I hadn’t even thought of. And their examples are gorgeous. And then I have to have it. LOL

I was never interested in the vintage look until I saw Jana Eubank make I always like her layouts. I consider her scrapbook style similar to mine. I wish I was as talented as her, she can use any kind of product and make it look good. She used to make layouts for Lisa Bearnson when she was on QVC.

I absolutely can be persuaded. I think part of it for me is I don't really look that closely at brands I don't typically buy, so I'll sometimes miss a really great pattern because I didn't look closely enough, but I also rely on online shopping only and seeing something used usually gives me a much better idea of the real colours.

I do this with Not Just For Boys kits sometimes. I'll skip buying one and then I will see layouts with it and I'll go back and buy it.
I definitely am influenced by what other people have done with collections. I like to challenge myself so sometimes I'll go back and buy something that wasn't originally appealing because I want a challenge.

Yes, more times than I would like to admit. Once I see a collection in use, and more often, if I've seen it used and then it goes on sale somewhere, I'm in.
