I started going through some papers to purge older stuff I'll never use. I came across a sheet of tickets with a place for the date, so I cut them up last night and placed them in my sorted by color bins. Maybe they'll get used!

I fussy cut nothing. Or extremely rarely. It’s not for me. I don’t like the process or the end look.

I used to trace and hand cut letters for page titles but now I rarely have patience to fussy cut because I am too spoiled by my cutting machines.

I am terrible at fussy cutting and usually avoid it at all cost. However, I subscribe to a monthly subscription kit from a local business here in Australia and as some of their papers have pictures designed to fussy cut I have decided to give it a go.
They have designed their own scissors that have large "handles" I can fit 3 fingers in one side and my thumb in the other if that makes sense!
To my surprise I am able to fussy cut more easily and accurately and expect I shall improve with more practice. The company is called Uniquely Creative - if you check our their website you can see them. I have forgotten how to add photos to posts here otherwise I would take a photo to show.

I.love fussy cutting with the right tools meaning scissor, cutting blades, etc. I would not want to do it for hours but, love the results.

I hate it with a burning passion of a thousand suns. Just, no. I will fussy cut small bits on occasion but will complain the entire time!

I would probably like it more if I was better at it, lol. But I've always had no skills with scissors since I was a kid. Give me metal dies or the Scan N'Cut any day!

Paige Evans seems to love deconstructing her pages, then reconstructing the elements into something else. I am currently PAINstakingly cutting out all the hearts on a paper FULL of them...
I made this layout a few weeks ago. Cutting the hearts was a pain but definitely worth it - I love the page, it's so pretty!! Paige is so talented. I look at papers in a new way thanks to her deconstructing methods. I am not good at fussy cutting - it's never smoothly cut, always uneven. But it's good enough for my layouts, and it doesn't really hurt my hands or anything, so I'll sit and cut while I watch TV from time to time.
