Going through my stash to find some blue paper to go with a multicolor floral print. I store all my non- project/collection paper by color.
Grabbed my “blue/aqua” container and well dang! I don’t have any “normal” blues…just a gazillion papers with bluish greens and pretty pale aquas and flat out turquoise. These aren’t card stock, it’s mostly “b-side” prints. I know I adore those shades, my guest room and bathroom (and pantry!) are painted these colors.
Either I use way more real blue than I realized, or I need to check myself before purchasing a single more sheet in this range!🫣
Have you noticed any holes in your stash? What are they?

Yes! I too use a lot of blues, teals, and greens on my scrapbook pages, but a few months ago I started a new project and realized I had no actual navy blue CS. I have tons of other blues but no navy, so I took myself off to the nearest big-box store to get some navy. (I was at a crop in a nearby town, so not my usual shopping area and I needed it right away otherwise I would have just ordered some online. And it wasn't that I hadn't brought any navy blue with me to the crop, I just flat out did not own any.)

I just did a "go through" of my cardstock and patterned paper. I need more purple.

I had to buy some gray cardstock recently. I almost never used gray before, but my grandson's alternate jersey for hockey is gray.
JoAnn's had a good selection for 30% off this week.

I need to invest in a scallop border punch. I always want to add one, but just haven't made the purchase yet.
I have found I am starting to use the color purple more frequently in my layouts. Normally I avoided it, but now I think it is time to invest in a few more sheets of paper in that color, too.

Purple paper for me too. And a regular sized hole punch. I have a Big Bite, but the hole is slightly smaller than tag holes.

A notebook edge border punch. I also scrap differently than I used to, so I am really lacking embellishments in my "vintage stash." I'm trying very hard when I shop to be mindful of what I already have and purchase things that will help me use my existing stash and make it more exciting, but I have not been doing as well at it this year as I was last year. This year I have been filling holes in my stash that don't exist.

Navy for me too! I just got some from Scrapbook.com buying the peppermint paper stack. I can't tell if I like the finish of the paper yet though. I'll have to use some and decide. Can't put my finger on what I'm not liking exactly either.
I'm running really low on chipboard embellishments and black tiny word strips with the white text.

That’s the one I bought, and the envelope showed up unsealed and empty. Lol! Love ordering from Amazon, it’s so easy to submit a replacement request, so I have another on the way!

Blue is the hardest color to match. Way to many variations.
My biggest hole to fill is true red. They’re usually orangish, pinkish, or brownish. I remember never being able to find Bazzil cardstock in red.
