Has anyone taken the new (to me) Heidi Swapp stamp class? It is $55 and you get a sheet of stamps that I know I could use. My current stamping style is press in ink, press on paper. I have a good 50 sets of stamps that mostly just sit on the shelf. Wonder if it is worth the money or if I should just watch some YouTube videos.
TIA

I took her stamp class, and I found it to be very valuable. Even though I had been scrapbooking for a long time, I felt that I was still a novice when it came to stamping. I'm sure I could have found a lot of the same information on YouTube, but it would have taken a lot of work for me to decide who to watch and what topics to select. Heidi's class is very structured, and the lessons build on each other. I had watched several of her Instagram lives in which she seems very distracted. This was different. I have a new appreciation for stamps and inks, and I'm glad I took the class. The 6X8 stamp set is definitely usable as well!
I'm wondering if there isn't a promo code for Memorial Day...let me check.

Hopefully someone who knows will reply, but I believe class/shop is run by Inked/Studio Calico and they have changed some of their stamps to cheaper acrylic vs higher quality photopolymer. I'd research carefully which type of stamp you would be getting. I believe Heidi has been very upfront about the change.

I'd research carefully which type of stamp you would be getting. I believe Heidi has been very upfront about the change. I took the course and am a subscriber for the HS Stamp Society. My understanding is that the only stamps from her website that are acrylic are the ones in the stop the blur kits. Everything else is photopolymer including this course stamp. I think her American Craft branded stamps are also acrylic, but her in house brand is all photopolymer except the STB kits. She has been good about being upfront. Related to the course and her other stamp courses, I do think this one is good and have found the others to be helpful as well. Heidi shines when it comes to stamping techniques and also just seeing how she collages her stamps is helpful and give some good inspo. Hope that helps.
