I randomly watched this youtube video www.youtube.com/watch?v=0M8aEOy1cnM from a planner (and I'm not much of a planner at all, just sometimes enjoy watching other crafters) and it showed some really cute stuff. Then of course I went to the website and went down a rabbit hole looking at all their pretty things. Any Peas tried their products? I was particularly looking at the gel pens as mine are all dried up but the monthly kits are adorable and I feel like might translate to scrapping. I could also be interested because the kits feel different/fresh but they won't be good for scrapping at all so I wanted to check in with you all and see anyone has any thoughts. Thanks!

The quality of everything I received was really good. All my pens are still working after about 2 years.
I did the subscription during COVID, but stopped because I was accumulating too many notebooks. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from her.

Great quality. I've gone through several of the notebooks I've collected, but I still have quite a few stacked up, so I took a breather for a while. I do use notebooks, but not at the rate I buy them...

I was coveting the acrylograph pens for a long time then realized there were so many sizes and colors that I would never be satisfied, could never chose what I wanted, so I stopped looking. Then I saw reviews of similar acrylic paint pens that someone got from amazon and realized I don't actually want the pens at all, I want the talent and dedication to make beautiful pages like the people I was watching. Another niggling dislike for me - too much, too durable/beautiful packaging. I don't want to keep things in fancy packaging and I don't want to throw it out either.
The notebooks have always been too beautiful for me - I would feel too threatened to start using them and then annoyed that I could never throw them away when they were full (and I need to throw my planners away - I don't have the space for them and keeping them doesn't make me happy). All the planner people I have followed love the A&O product though. And Bonnie, the owner, seems to be great, runs an inclusive and socially conscious business, from what I have seen.

wordfish Thank you! The notebooks do look lovely. I can see how easy it would be to get several.

I don't actually want the pens at all, I want the talent and dedication to make beautiful pages like the people I was watching. That's so true. And good points about the beautiful packaging. If it's too pretty, I end up not wanting to "ruin" it by using it, which is silly. I went use some flat letter stickers today from Simple Stories I've had in my stash for ages. They did not stick at all. I tried gluing them down but it was super tedious. I did it for the card I was making but then through out the rest. I know I'll never use them now if I have to fuss with them that much. A good reminder to use my stash (which is pretty small these days), even if something does have pretty packaging. Love that OA is inclusive & socially conscious. I love supporting small businesses like that.

I love A&O!! I started by just ordering a notebook or two. They are just lovely! I have used one as a reading journal. Another I have used as a Bible study notebook. The paper is a wonderful thickness. I have now been in the quarterly sub club for a year or so. You get things in the box that are not online. I have also gotten several acrylograph pen sets in the sub boxes. TBH, I haven't used the pens but I have them.

I don't do planning. I wish I did, it would probably help. I did watch the video scrappyem mentioned. The product looked great, but I would take issue with a couple of things, their name on my paper which would pretty much ruin a folding embellishment. Also the packaging is way over done, maybe 25% of the cost of the kit, not counting the added weight for shipping.
