These little incidents that China has been doing are childish. It has to do with Taiwan which makes me think China might be thinking about making a move to drag Taiwan back into the fold whether they want to go or not.

A couple of days ago some migrants were dumped on the doorstep of a church in Sacramento. No one knew they were coming.

“Migrants were promised ‘jobs’ and ‘free support,’ non-profit says
Sacramento Area Congregations Together (ACT), a non-profit group of local religious congregations, says 16 migrants from Venezuela and Colombia were dropped off by the private jet at a Sacramento airport and taken by bus to the front office of the Diocese of Sacramento in California, where they were left.
ACT says it is assisting the migrants, who had been in El Paso, Texas. They were approached at a migrant center there by “individuals representing a private contractor stating that they would assist them in getting to a migrant center providing them with jobs and other free support,” according to ACT.
The migrants are men and women between 20 and 30 years old, said ACT spokesperson Cecilia Flores. She said they did not know each other before being “recruited.”
This morning Gavin Newsom tweeted this. I have no idea if the state can press kidnapping charges against this “private contractor” who lied to these individuals and brought them to California under false pretenses.
It will be interesting to see what happens. But then this “private contractor” did lie to these individuals which could be seen as fraud.

George Santos doesn't want the names of the people who posted his $500,000 bail. He says he is willing to be held to prevent the release of the names.. This from the truth teller!! UPDATE:Indicted Rep. George Santos (R-NY) has lost his bid to block the public from knowing the identities of the donors who bailed him out.As reported by Adam Klasfeld of Law and Crime News, Magistrate Judge Anne Y. Shields granted a motion to unseal the names of the Santos donors who paid for his bond after he was indicted on campaign finance-related violations earlier this year.
Santos had previously said that he would rather go to jail than reveal the identities of his benefactors, and that declaration will now certainly be put to the test.

My dad was there. He never really talked about WWII. It wasn’t until I happened to be a my dad’s house when he was talking about the war with my uncle . Both men were in their 80’s. My dad was one of the crew on the troop transport boats. To hear those two men talk about that day and what they witnessed I understand why they didn’t talk much about that part of their life.

Then I learned the truth. For some in this country “exporting” guns to Mexico specifically the cartels is big business.
The very same cartels that are responsible for bringing drugs into this country.

MSNBC: reports that NYT reports Mark Meadows has testified before the special counsel Jack Smith grand jury!! *** As it turns out, Schmidt(NYT columnist) explained, it's been discovered that Meadows, a "potentially key figure in inquiries related to Mr. Trump, has testified before a federal grand jury hearing evidence in the investigations being led by the special counsel’s office, according to two people briefed on the matter."
There are two investigations under Smith – one relates to the classified document scandal and the other goes to the Jan. 6 attack and the attempt to overthrow the 2020 election. Meadows has been a large part of the latter, though it isn't clear which investigation he testified in.
