It is all catching up with Paul and Paxton .. Nate Paul, the Austin real estate investor central to allegations of illegal conduct by suspended Attorney General Ken Paxton, has been charged with eight counts of making false statements to financial institutions. (Sounds like TFG!)Paul, 36, allegedly overstated his assets and understated his liabilities to fraudulently obtain loans, according to a 23-page indictment filed by federal prosecutors Friday. The government is seeking $172 million in restitution from Paul. *** Paul is a central figure in the abuse-of-office and bribery allegations made against Paxton by former high-ranking officials, all of whom were subsequently fired or resigned from the attorney general's office after taking their concerns to the FBI in 2020. Their accusations — focusing on help Paxton gave Paul after the real estate investor's Austin home and businesses were searched by federal law enforcement — prompted an FBI investigation and formed the lion’s share of 20 articles of impeachment against Paxton that the Texas House adopted last month. Paxton is currently suspended from his official duties and awaiting an impeachment trial in the Senate, where a two-thirds vote would permanently remove him from office. A specially appointed panel of senators will present rules of procedure for the trial to the full Senate on June 20, according to a resolution that set the trial to begin no later than Aug. 28. www.rawstory.com/nate-paul-2661179939/

A couple weeks ago on Fox News Newt Gingrich said trump has this ability to talk to the third, fourth & sixth mentality of his supporters. Or something like that.
I think this may be an example of that.

Well the tax cuts are in progress(the GOP wishes anyway).. Three new GOP-backed bills would cut taxes for large companies, small businesses, and individual families while reducing clean energy tax incentives to pay for it. "It's Republican clockwork," the ranking member on the Ways and Means Committee Rep. Richard E. Neal (D-Mass.) said in a statement. "Not even a week after their manufactured default crisis and it is back to tax cuts for the wealthy and well-connected." T"Not even a week after their manufactured default crisis and it is back to tax cuts for the wealthy and well-connected." "This stoops to a new low even for them: retroactive corporate tax cuts, next-to-nothing for the most vulnerable children and families, and sneaking in favors for Big Oil," he continued. "Make no mistake about it, they are laying the groundwork for even bigger cuts in 2025, and the only way they will ever achieve a balanced budget is by sticking seniors and working families with the bill." After threatening to force the government into default over the debt ceiling, Republican lawmakers Friday introduced new tax cuts that could add at least $21 billion to the national deficit over the next decade. Something to think about... The indictment U.S. v TFG is a 49 page document.
Thomas' wrote a 48 page dissent in the SCOTUS decision on the Mississippi gerrymandering case. Vengeance anyone??

She does have a point…
The complete tweet…
“I'm pretty sure that if I got fired from my job but refused to leave & then sent a bunch of crazy people to bash in the windows, build a gallows to hang my coworker & smear poop on the walls, and then when I finally did leave, I took a mountain of nuclear secrets with me, refused to give them back, moved them all around my gilded golf motel including into my chandelier shitter & showed them off to my pals all while lying about having them in the first place, I wouldn't be allowed to tour the country saying I was never really fired and that I deserve to get my old job back. But what do I know.”

How do.you all feel about Eileen Cannon being appointed the Judge on this case? I'm hearing ste could delay proceedings. Seems terrible to me that she could be allowed anywhere near thus case with her obvious bias towards Trump and her previous admonishment over her interference with the search of Mar-a-Lago.

The quickest way to shut people down who are claiming trump did this or that is let an investigation proceed to prove he didn’t do it. It really is that simple.
But the problem is trump himself who finds ways to obstruct any investigation and by doing so makes one think he is hiding something and what is it.
Which in the end proves trump is guilty as charged.
Now we have all these investigations going on and trump is claiming they are a witch hunt and his minions aka the Republican Party are twisting themselves up in knots finding ways of casting doubt on the investigation or sticking Congress’s nose in areas it has no business being.
And according to Newt Gingrich trump’s supporters have the intellect of a 3rd, 4th or 5th grader. So they pretty believe pretty much anything trump or the minions say.

She can create all kinds of very serious mischief. From delays at all states, but includes denying use of evidence, like the taped calls with his admissions. How sensitive documents are handled. Not all info should be made public. She could rule disclose all of it or it can not be used...

Notice a common theme here? If you are a Republican elected representative and you can’t get your way you just don’t show up. Our tax dollars at work.
Congress..

After the pandemic eased and people started driving more gas prices went through the roof and people blamed President Biden. Even though he had nothing to do with OPEC & oil companies raising the price of oil/gas.
This fool admitted he specifically asked OPEC to raise the price of oil which leads to higher gas prices. The only reason I can think of why he would do that is because his buddies in the oil industry weren’t making enough money. So screw the consumer.

I just saw the clip of Kari Lake saying those going for Trump have to go through her and 75 million Americans. Who are mostly all members of the NRA. She then said this isn't a threat, it's a public service announcement. Amazing how she can get away with saying that.

Suggest something you have no proof of is part of the new Republican’s handbook. Well Matt Gaetz was on warroom(?) we a more moderate assessment.. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) admitted on Tuesday that he only has an "allegation" against President Joe Biden despite suggestions by Republicans who say the former vice president likely received bribes from foreign governments.During an interview with conservative podcast host Steve Bannon, Gaetz revealed that he had personally debriefed an alleged FBI whistleblower with apparent dirt on Biden's family.
"And I found the claims credible, but I want to be very clear about something," he said. "Even what's on a 1023 [form] is an allegation."
And the important work ahead is not to reflexively lurch into some sort of legislative procedural posture, " he continued. "It is to track down the bank records. It is to look for these 17 audio recordings that I knew were alleged to have existed several months ago."
Gaetz said that Republican lawmakers could take foreign trips to secure bank records. ***
The FBI FD-1023 is used to "record raw, unverified reporting from confidential human sources," according to the Society of Former Special Agents.

Sorry, I can't find the Lindsey Graham post, if there was one . Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who for years served as an attorney for the United States Air Force, feigned ignorance about the law on Tuesday when asked about former President Donald Trump's claims about his right to keep top-secret government documents. Most politicians get in trouble by self-inflicted wounds," Graham replied, according to Raju. "Yeah I mean he believes he had the right to possess these under the Presidential Records Act. I don't know whether that's accurate or not." In fact, it is demonstrably not accurate. The Presidential Records Act plainly states that "the United States shall reserve and retain complete ownership, possession, and control of Presidential records" and makes no exceptions that involve potentially stashing nuclear secrets in a luxury bathroom. www.rawstory.com/lindsey-graham-2661264916/
