My 14 year old is off to Camp for the 1st time. Like a true scrapnerd, I was thinking of making him his own stationery kit, including letters, pre-stamped envelopes etc. But the family shot it down in flames...... So do I just buy something like this, which I feel is overly cheerful??? www.etsy.com/listing/1226933917/fill-in-the-blank-camp-letter-camp-note?gpla=1&gao=1&What's worked for you in the past? Wish you had done? Thanks!

How long are they at camp? IME for 1-2 weeks - they don't write.
I send mine with a small notebook (3x5" ish) and a pen in case they want to journal. And our camps have parents drop off already written mail when they drop off the camper - they distribute it daily so if they'll be there 6 days, I leave 6 notes in envelopes and label them for each day.

I'd send one or two pre stamped postcards and call it a day. If it's just a week or two, they wont have time to write.

It's a 2 week camp. He pretty much rolls his eyes.... I'm going to go with the postcards, thanks for the suggestion.
I think they said post letters in advance so they arrive in the first week, but I'll check if I can just hand them in at the beginning. They also do a care package too, so I'm just thinking a game, photo and a book, since food and candy isn't allowed
