What would you choose?
I think I would choose to work with stripes, with polka dots and stars as a close second and third. I don't generally gravitate towards holiday papers, and clouds and hearts are fun but not my go-to every time I scrapbook.
What about you?

I chose floral, because I could also fussy-cut the flowers for embellishments. I also gravitate toward florals.

That’s a hard one because I need b sides for backgrounds, but I could use only a floral pattern because you can detail cut it for lots of embellishments.

I chose plaid. But, floral is a close second.

Plaid here too. I also like gingham. I like the symmetry they give to my layouts/cards.

I think my favorite paper is ledger.

My first choice would be stripes. Then checkered and polkadots.

For me, it would be woodgrain or some type of grid/graph paper. The closest choice is probably plaid!

I selected polka dots, but really it would be woodgrain/map prints.

That's a tough choice. I guess if I had to choose I'd go with polka dots, then floral, then gingham. But please let me have all three.

I chose floral, because I could also fussy-cut the flowers for embellishments. I also gravitate toward florals. If I could only have one, this is what I would also choose for the same reason. On the plus side, I'd still have a decent sized stash to work with if I got rid of everything that is not floral

IF I could choose only one (and that's a BIG if), it would have to be stripes. But I consider wood grain paper to be striped, as well as lined notebook paper, and ledger type paper...they're all stripes LOL Chevrons could be considered wavy stripes...

I voted Christmas because that category has a lot of variety in it and if I could only make one kind of card all year Christmas would be OK. But I second the write in vote for b-sides and would also consider florals to be very high on the list. Also wonder if we can use the b-sides of these florals in this dystopian nightmare world you are imagining? Or are the b-sides the same type as the a-sides?!

I picked plaid, because I have a plaid paper problem, but this question is impossible. I agree with crabbybear that wood grain or ledger would be the most versatile but I think that would get too plain for me after awhile.
I think floral would be my second choice, as long as I got to work with different scales of floral.

You're so nasty, only letting me choose one! I think I would choose to work with stripes, with polka dots and stars as a close second and third. If I were only ever going to do girl layouts, I would choose florals. But seeing I don't just do girl layouts, I also choose stripes, and dots are also my second choice.

I chose polka dots. Tiny dot patterns work well for backgrounds and larger ones could be cut up to use as embellishments - could make petals out of circles for diy flowers or stacked circles in varying sizes for flowers. You could also do origami type folding to create texture.
