I think a lot of us on this board have been scrapping for a very long time, so our take on themes is a bit different than newer scrappers.
For example, I think most of us are up to our ears in Christmas and Halloween paper. I saw that mentioned several times in the Echo Park threads. Companies tend to come out with multiple Christmas releases but at this point most are underwhelming because we already have so much that looks the same.
I guess Christmas lines sell or they wouldn't make so many but I really wish they made more of other holidays and themes.
For example, I was pleased to see a new wedding line because I haven't seen one in awhile. I'm surprised those aren't produced more regularly. I also never see enough interesting graduation lines.
What themes do you want to see, or see more of?

I have seen a lot of more retro lines from the 70's recently, but I would love a 90's themed one. A more doodly illustration style with bright colors reminiscent of my old Lisa Frank folders. Icons can include CD's, tamogatchi toys, and flip phones. And I want that silly "S" design every kid drew on their notebooks included. And I want to use this line while sipping on some Hi-C Ecto Cooler and Surge. 😎
ETA: I also somehow want dial up internet to be included in some sort of punny cut apart sheet.

I want some new themes but don't hit me over the head with how themey they are... The "other" sports like (for me) cross country, tennis, and bowling (not retro!) just putting the word tennis on the paper is not enough, however I don't need a 12 by 12 neon yellow zoom in of a tennis ball either. Somewhere in between. No, I'm not demanding at all... Chess More music, especially orchestra Pets other than dogs and cats Beach, but not tropical Grocery shopping Learning to drive (yes, Scrapbook Generation has a line for this, I wish there were more...) Matchbox cars/ Hot Wheels, or at least a paper with roads all over it last day of school school carnival school play school science fair (or book fair) school anything other than the first day! Just a few of my ideas...

I'm honestly moving away from themes for the most part...I have plenty and right now I'm more into generic embellishments (stars, tags, circles, hexagons, hearts, arrows, flowers etc...) and less into stuff that has a narrow focus.

I am always up for outdoor lines. Critters, trees, just nature in general. Many of them go straight to camping, but I just like the elements of non humans in nature.

Lots of good suggestions here. Love the outdoors/nature idea that isn't camping specific.
I'd like to see a food themed collection that isn't "farm" or "country" related.
This is really niche BUT I'd also love to see more wrestling-themed papers. As a family, we've gone to a lot of WWE professional wrestling events and I always have a hard time finding papers & embellishments to go with our photos. I was super excited last year at GASC in Arlington to actually find a WWE themed page kit from one of the vendors - I snapped it right up! I've also found some wrestling paper at conventions but it really seems more geared towards high-school wrestling. WWE sells out 20k+ seat arenas all over the country (and world) so I can't be the only scrapbooking mom out there attending right???

Urban. I rarely make it to the ocean or forests. LOL
Then when I do make it out of the city, its like Lake Erie, no flamingos or palm trees there. So, I could really use non-tropical vacation items.
I'm not sure what I want here - but something summer that isn't so swimsuit and popsicles. Or not so cartoonish looking. It's just not our vibe. It's hard to explain.
I know that they try to appeal to the masses, but I'm not sure that they really think about who the masses are. It is kind of like all the old gray-haired bun grannies and 1800s phone stickers. I don't know anyone who looks like that. The grandma that lives next door to me drives a sky blue Bronco Sport - not a covered wagon!

I need more of:
High School Reunions
Walking, gym. I have some, and some recently was released by Reminisce, but I would like more variety. Specifically for walking (treadmill, walk on a path, etc..).
Home life (quiet time, self care, reading, scrapbooking, puttering, chores, etc..).
New and fresh: Birthday stickers. In different colors other than the traditional primary colors (I have enough red, blue and yellow).
New and fresh: Concert, shows, outdoor theater, etc..
Arts and crafts, festival, fair and carnival (that aren't sticker sneeze size).
Hanging out with friends type stuff (lunch, dinner, sitting on porch-couch-by firepit-etc..).
Road trips that have more realistic stuff (sedan or SUV, fast food, hotels that aren't a 1950's motel, sidewalk cafes, foodie type stuff for the foodies (<< I am not a foodie), ice cream stands that aren't pink pastel and faded turquoise, blank directional signs that alphabet stickers will fit on, etc...
Bigger sized words(at least 2.5inch-3inch): Shenanigans Misbehaving Party of one, two, four, ten, etc.. So this happened Hanging out First time for everything More of this....please! Whose crazy idea was this? Night out with friends Lunch date! A day out Now or Never Unsupervised Oops! The time of my life Life Documented Guilty Pleasure Unplanned adventure Spontaneous Bad ass! Checking this off the bucket list Oh hell yes! Out and about Spending time with you is my favorite My favorite people Because someone has to be the crazy friend, Aunt, Grandma, Uncle, etc... Ringmaster of the circus Wandering along Serendipity Still crazy after all these years This is what memories are made of >>>> It was them I had the best moments of my life with Quality time together Festival Can't take him-her-them anywhere
I wish certain companies (*echo park* to name one) would come up with new stuff, instead of the same old stuff...in a different color.
I've got about 40+ themes in my scrapbook product inventory (each theme is stored in a 13 x 13 plastic envelope or two or three (Christmas! has three, because I have so much Christmas products).

I am reading a lot more lately, so I like book themed stuff. I would like more theatre things since I was in a play and we go see shows. More mature versions of birthday, siblings, games. I am getting older and so are my friends.

I'm not a super-themey scrapper, so I'm not yearning for anything in particular.
However, as previously mentioned, some more music and performance-related things might be nice. Music notes are always useful as accents.
To expand upon that, I attend concerts, plays, lectures, etc. quite often (or I did, pre-2020), from outdoor venues to clubs, theaters and arenas. As a matter of fact, I went to see Duran Duran last week when I was offered tickets day of. I have lots to journal about this, as I was a huge fan 40 years ago and I would have exploded with happiness if given tickets back then. I DID take photos at the show and I WILL be scrapping them 😀 But I digress.
So words/phrases like: encore, opener, Freebird! (just kidding. Or maybe not, since someone always yells it), autograph, program, set list, our seats, GA, reserved, standing room only, tickets, rush tickets, guest list, backstage, stage door, An evening with, meet and greet, merch, I remembered my ear plugs, I bought the t-shirt, etc.
I also love nature images--leaves of all kinds and colors, acorns, birds, etc.
What I do not want with these themes are images of people. My photos cover that aspect.

Also, 49 and Market has some really nice outdoor lines that make nice layouts. Their newest one looks promising too.

I'd like more hockey themed items. I'd also probably buy a modern grandmother line. While I did let my hair get white, I don't think I'm the old stereotypical granny! I like to cook, travel, take grandkids on adventures, drive my big SUV, and go out with friends a lot.

I'd love more gender-neutral kits. My oldest is non-binary but even before then, I couldn't scrap them with pretty pink princess makeup dolls girl kits or tomboy "dirt never hurt" overall muddy gee-shucks kits, either. Just having less-pink and less-blue kits with words in them like "sibling" and "child" would be helpful. My kids are 9 & 14 and into things like robotics, writing/reading, etc. but there are usually not too many kits for those things, either.
My fiance & do lots of cultural/artsy things together like attend plays, go to art museums, etc. (I second the suggestion for urban kits!) but there are never kits for those things outside of field trip or school-themed ones.
I guess I'm just looking for anything that isn't a stereotype!

None. I'm not (& never have been) a theme scrapper & don't view collections through that lens. As always, I wish for versatile, non-themed, white-based, clean, & modern collections in neutral color palettes to which other colors, distressing, etc. can be added as desired to document anything/everything, including subjects without themed products (e.g. travel to major cities, museums/monuments tours, attending pro/college sporting events as a spectator, college/young adult activities/first apartment, etc). ETA: I am reading a lot more lately, so I like book themed stuff. ... Perhaps you'd like Photoplay - Book Club collection (or other July releases) linked & discussed HERE. HTH.

There a lots of great ideas here. I'm also ok if there aren't a lot of specific themes, I really like the everyday type lines we've seen in the last couple of years, although I could also do with them being less country/farm/farmhouse, and often reach for dots/stars/colour wash/gentle distressed background papers when I want to build my own theme. Adding my vote for more mature birthday lines that are not primary colours. I'd love a reading line that included more references to digital devices like kindles or ipads, and fewer icons like glasses. However, as previously mentioned, some more music and performance-related things might be nice. Music notes are always useful as accents. ... So words/phrases like: encore, opener, autograph, program, set list, our seats, GA, reserved, standing room only, tickets, rush tickets, guest list, backstage, stage door, An evening with, meet and greet, merch, I remembered my ear plugs, I bought the t-shirt, etc. Lots of these would be really useful for me too. I'd also love generic record stickers/ephemera/paper I could cut apart with neutral tones in the centres that could be used for all types of music styles.

Never been a theme I didn't consider for my stash. Love a theme!
I think beach that isnt tropical or full of lighthouses is always needed in my stash.
Pets beyond cats and dogs can be welcome
Pregnancy is not needed by me but when I needed it I hated what was out there. Something tasteful instead of pee sticks and bun in the oven
School lines for average kids or kids who struggle. That means no A+ or star student themes please.
College and alternative schools also welcome. And not just dorm life or up all night themes
I will check back in as more comes to mind.

myboysnme I agree about pregnancy theme! Pregnancy might be a niche theme but it’s different than babies, imo! I found one pregnancy themed line but I’m not remembering the name of the brand off the top of my head. I wish there was more. But I’m also using some general everyday type products too.
