I didn't realize that border punches were old school! I don't think I've purchased one since we moved to this house ten years ago... and they were one of my first supplies when I started scrapping, back when finding the "drippy goo" border punch was like a search for the Holy Grail. I think that was around 2011 or so. I do not own that one

Burlap! I recently found some in my stash, and it will be perfect for some backyard BBQ layouts I’m doing. I just need to pick up some fresh acrylic paint to stamp on the burlap. Oh my gosh, I loved burlap. I made a couple of zoo layouts and a layout about my nephew with burlap and I still love those pages. I know I have some somewhere in my stash. Time to get it out. I own the drippy goo border punch! I really liked that one but haven't used it in years. I'm running out of Halloween photos to scrap now that the kids are teenagers.

I just pulled out a bunch of my stash to make three memory boards for my dad's memorial service. I used Basic Gray distressed green papers from several collections for the backgrounds, some Cloud 9 Family Quote stickers, a 49 & Market Travel Collection from several years ago, some Jolees Flag stickers, Simple stories alpha stickers which had to be at least 10 years old. My non-scrapbooker sister was amazed at how many items I had for the different themes we needed.

I don't use a lot of embellishments, but I prefer mini brads to enamel dots and ribbon to washi. Not a supply, but I still love to ink edges.

I just did a layout where I had to dig through my old stash for embellishments. I used paper leaves I got on Amazon long ago, a Prima flower, and a piece of gingham ribbon with "You are my sunshine" written on it. That ribbon is probably 15 years old.
I really need to remember to dig through my old stuff.

I still like and use buttons. I also still like to add tags with ribbon or cord/fiber through the hole and primarily use them for journaling. I occasionally add flowers to pages (not diecut flowers but the dimensional ones like Prima and 49 and Market), but was never into floral overload. I have supplies from 2 decades of trends - from eyelets and brads to washi and wood veneer. Many of those embellishment types I've used on a few layouts and never warmed up to but haven't parted with them yet either. Really nothing is off the table when I create a layout except supplies that have gone bad, like rusted flair and yellowed acrylic brads.

OP, have you seen anyone stamp on their wooden shapes? It kind of gives them a different look. Make the old new again.

I still like to use my QuicKutz 2x2 and Revolution 4x4 items on cards, tags, and layouts. I don't use them as often, but still do every so often.
I like to go through my stash every 6 months and purge older items I haven't reached for int he last 6 months. The likelihood that I would need it or want to use it is very, very slim. So I just donate it to DD or Dh's school or offer it up on the free items group I belong to in my community.
I do have 2 border punches from back in their heyday and keep those as they are used a few times a year. Haven't felt the need to get rid of them yet.

I still use Mrs.Grossman’s fabric papers. They are magnificent! I also use grunge paper and rub ons from Christy Tomlinson. I bought plenty of these items back in the day! I also have several Creative Memories albums. Gotta love the oldies but goodies.
