We just purchased a new (to us) camp almost to the NY state line (northern PA) and there's no internet service in our area.
I've been doing some research and the 2 available for us are Mobil Com and Starlink - anyone used either of these for your personal internet service at your home or other residence?

We use Starlink RV when we travel with our fifth wheel. We like that we can pause the service when we're not using it. When we resume service we have to pay for a one month period even if we don't use it the whole month, but that's fine with us. We use it to work during the day (DH and I both work remotely) and we have no trouble at all with it. It also use it to watch TV some evenings. We use DirecTV Stream and can watch our recorded shows, and we've also used it for Hulu, Max, Netflix, etc.
DD's boyfriend's parents live in an area of North Carolina with horrible internet service (think just a bit faster than dial up speeds) and spotty cell phone coverage. They've used Starlink for years for internet and WiFi calling and it's worked well for them.

We have Starlink at home (on an island with crappy internet options) and it has worked wonderfully. No issues at all.
Our outdoor school learning center is so far up in the forest, there is no internet. It is a twenty minute drive down the mountain to a signal. Starlink has worked like a dream up there. The office people are beyond thankful!

Starlink is my home internet connection. I've had it for over 2 years now and I'm very happy with it. It's reliable and fast. I have never heard of Mobil Com.

Thanks for all the responses. I think Mobil Com is a company in northern PA/southern NY. We are going to try with that one first this Friday - they have a 30 day trial (just like Starlink) so if it doesn't work for us we still go with Star!
